I should have listened to the other bad reviews! Requested a buff and shine on my vehicle, really it was just a cleanup job because it had already been buffed and polished, earlier in the week. ...but there was excess polish left on the car from a past job. Originally I Was told the job would take three hours, for a price of $249. Which I agreed to. Once the detailers got here, he said if I wanted the tiny strip area around my windows done as well, it would be an extra $50 because it would take him an extra 30 minutes. They knew I was on a time restriction because they had to be finished by 3 o'clock for a showing on my house. So I agreed because of the extra time And felt it would make him hurry up and finish the job so that I could show my house at the scheduled time. They finished in LESS THAN TWO HOURS and still charged me $300. When I questioned the extra $50 that I was originally told was because it would take him so much longer, he said no, the 50 extra dollars is for the trim around the windows. So, beware that when you are paying for someone to buff your car, that different parts of the car, which should be included, are going to cost you extra. It's like selling someone my house and then saying "OH YOU WANT THE AIR CONDITIONING? That's extra" How about I come to clean your house, and tell you (after we have already agreed to a price), that if you want me to clean the floors that's extra. Wouldn't go over too well. Car looks fine but I don't like getting jerked around for more money once they show up at my house. *** After speaking with Francesca at the office, she is now accusing me of making up stories, and insist that the detailers were there for longer than they said they were. Even though I have screenshots, and timestamps, and there are cameras all over my driveway. Not to mention the fact that, doesn't everyone know that Tesla records everything happening on the outside of their vehicle??. It's infuriating that after I write a review, she says that they were there for a little OVER two hours. Which somehow justifies a price increase, not agreed to, for "the trim" around my windows? It's part of the car. I watched the guys merely wipe the area. It literally didn't even take them five minutes. Now she is threatening to "report me". I made an appointment and the day before needed to change it and they reworked their schedule. I bought a new car and they are cleaning it now. I can see that they care about their work. I sincerely wish I had a before photo to show how disgusting my car was before Xander and Michael did the amazing job that they did. I own a dog training company and have had every dog of every different breed in my car since buying it a year ago. It was terrible. Dirt, sand, hair, old dog treats, the list goes on. I decided to finally give my cars interior/exterior a proper detail after about 5 years of just using the car wash. Xander did an AMAZING job, so good I booked him a week later for another car. So if you're looking to get your car looking as good as new, DO NOT hesitate to schedule service with Xander. Customer Service (5/5): Xander was very quick in replying on Yelp and very accommodating when it came to scheduling as I was not able to do the days he had available. He carved out some time for me on a Sunday, which I was not expecting at all. He arrived on time and just requested me to move the car to a spot where he would be able to back in his trailer. We found a spot, he asked me if there was any specific areas to concentrate, I handed him the keys and he went to work. Called me when he was finished and we did a walk around. He is very friendly and a pleasure to speak to/do business with. The wash: I chose the Detailed Package ($55) but added the interior shampoo (+$10). When I saw my car I was blown away from a distance and even more from up close. I have not seen my car shine the way it did since I got it, the interior was spotless, and he has excellent attention to detail. He did so good I told him I'd book him again a week later in order to do my girlfriends car while she was in town and he did just as good if not better with the same service, she was also blown away. I was stunned by the price of the detail. 110 for my Ford Explorer which received a shampoo (not the entire car) only the back section and a wash and wax. There was still vacuuming that needed done. 65 for my Ford Mustang convertible wash wax outside looked good but again the inside cleaning was lacking. 175 dollars was overpriced, nice guy and I wish him well but need better detail inside the cars and price was way out of line. I usually spend 90 for both cars with my regular guy but he has been unavailable for a couple of weeks. Update. They have reimbursed me 55 dollars stating a mistake was made on the price for my 2 cars. Honest business are hard to come by. I'm going to leave an honest review. I'm pretty disappointed. This is probably my worst experience ever getting a car detailed. After not showing up the first appointment and rescheduling me for 5 days later, I had high expectations. I hate to say it but this is not a proper detail. This is a step up from going to a car wash, maybe. I opted for the highly detailed service, the most expensive option, and it really wasn't anything to write home about. And my car was not very dirty to begin with. I drive a car that is fairly new. However, it does not look like my car was detailed. The wheels are still crazy dirty. Rear diffuser was not wiped down all the way. There was still the same spots on my center console. Dust on the dashboard. The seats did not look like they were cleaned, I still saw plenty of marks that I could wipe with my finger and crumbs still on the seat. And again, this is a fairly new car and was not very dirty to begin with. I also question if my car was really hit with a clay bar and polished. I actually went to a meet up right after and a buddy of mine asked if I got my car detailed yet, in all seriousness. I wouldn't be all that mad if I had just gotten the cheapest service which is right around the price for a decent car wash. Because that's what it was, a car wash, not a real detail. I'm giving another star just because Loralee is a lovely lady. Xander is a nice young guy and I appreciate the hustle. I'm just being real - I'm disappointed. I was given a 25% discount because of the initial appointment that was a no show. Although, I still feel like I just wasted my money and was not worth it. Real car guys should stay away. I scheduled a date with the company, Highly. Detailed, on an agreed-upon price for my car to be completely detailed 11 days ago. I even shared with Francesca that, because the car needs extra work, I would be willing to pay $200 for the service, even after she had quoted their usual price of $175. I called Francesca today to confirm the appointment we had scheduled for tomorrow. I was told by her that we did not have an appointment; the appointment was never really made because the price for the service was never agreed upon. I can reassure you that all she told me today were total lies. Overall, what that company did, what Francesca did, was unprofessional and irresponsible.
