The referral document itself states: "Verified: No authorization needed" When confronted, staff changed story to "provider's workload." Screenshots of exchange + referral showing "no auth needed" uploaded as proof. Without my follow-up, who knows when (or if) this referral would've been sent. False insurance excuse to cover negligence = dodgy practice. Finding new provider.

However, the PA was the complete opposite. He was terrible and not helpful at all. Maybe he was having a rough day but I've never had anybody in the medical field be so rude. I could get past his bad attitude but he also didn't do what he said he was going to do when it came to having my prescription refilled. This guy ruined the entire experience and I will never go here again or any other Swedish Express Care for that matter. I'm sure there are other PA's here that are great but I do not want to deal with that guy ever again!

The building looked simple and a bit outdated, but I never judge a book by its cover, and this was definitely one of those cases. From the receptionist to the nurse assistant and the doctor, everyone was incredibly caring, attentive, and kind. This is what health care is supposed to feel like. I'm used to the drive‑thru experience at Overlake, Evergreen, and UW Medicine, but I had an outstanding experience at Meadowbrook. They took excellent care of my wounds, and I'll return there again if I ever need to. I'm not sure how they handle more complex cases, but for first‑care treatment, they exceeded my expectations. Please keep your practice humane and personal -- this is a rare gem.

I would go in for my yearly "Wellness Check" at my previous physician's office and basically fill out a questionnaire about how I was feeling. The doctor did very little after reviewing my questionnaire other than ordering a basic blood test. I'm 68 years old and when I started going to Trivas, Courtney proceeded to perform tests appropriate to my age. Courtney decided that I should have the PSA level in my blood tested because of my age and gender. My PSA was high which showed the possibility of Prostrate Cancer. She tested my PSA again and the result was the same. Long story short is that I was then diagnosed with an advanced stage of prostate cancer and went in for surgery shortly after. I believe that without Courtney's knowledge and diagnosis my lifespan would be dramatically shortened. Courtney went the extra mile that my last doctor did not put the effort in to, I'm now cancer free and looking forward to being around for a lot longer than I would have if I had not switched to Trivas Family medicine. She has been so supportive with helping me to improve basic but important things like diet and exercise, or more specific issues like supplements to address anemia and related fatigue, mental health challenges, etc. I am relatively young and healthy, so I wasn't sure if trying to find good primary care was actually that important but after this past year of really stellar care, I can say without a doubt that a quality PCP is life changing! Dr. Johnson is always incredibly responsive via the message portal and gets back really quickly with responses and lab results. Speaking of labs, she is happy to bill your insurance for those out-of-clinic items like a pap smear or blood test; that's been super easy and 100% covered. One of the most impressive things (besides her geniune care for her patients!), might be that I have never had to wait more than a day or two for an in-person appointment. It is absolutely night and day compared to every other provider I've had in my adult life. Thank you Dr. Johnson!

I was worried that because they are so big and have so many patients that it would just be a repeat of last year's physical. 9:00 AM on a Wednesday I was checked in, processed, weighed, measured, and set for Dr. Transue to pop in not 3 minutes after I'd sat my butt down in a comfy chair they had in the exam room for me. I had about 5+ health questions for her, of which she answered EVERY ONE. Before we did anything else. And took her time with it. Not only that, but every time I mentioned something that previous doctors had nothing to say about, she immediately knew what I was talking about and was able to diagnose all of my ailments. She clearly had the know-how when it came to every question I had and it seemed like she was really listening to me. Just a few days after my appointment, my nose piercing got infected and I knew I needed medication but didn't want to go all the way back to the doctor. So I emailed Dr. Transue about it--and within ONE DAY she emailed me back and had sent in a prescription to my pharmacy. Conclusively, Dr. Emily Transue is the best medical experience that I've had to date in Seattle. A great doctor is a very important thing, and I've found mine!

I have never felt so listened to, respected and thoroughly taken care of by another Dr. I have some questions that are a bit odd, she answers them honestly and straight forward. Some times I get a little emotional when I'm going through stuff and she just so happens to ask me about 'stuff' and she hands me the Kleenex box and listens and offers suggestions. On line is a great experience too, I had surgery with a completely different Dr. and a completely different facility but when I couldn't get a hold of them for advice and medication it was Dr. Transue that came to my rescue. When you're telling her things she is CONSTANTLY typing away in your record, at first I was a little concerned that she wasn't listening but the next visit 9ish months later she asked me follow up questions to things I had expressed concern about before. That sealed the deal.
