As always, the end of the month is the worst time to go to any emissions testing center. Anyways, to be fair they only had 2 gentlemen working this afternoon. The line was outside the gate on the road. I'm glad I left work early to go, I was there for about 44 minutes. Thank you for being friendly and professional, I give these guys credit. I got there about 3pm and left around 4pm, my truck was done but I had to wait for one of them to check me out. They were busy! I needed to resolve it before I went to register my new vehicle. I walk into the office which had a window and Charles was sitting at the desk with his head turned. I said "Hello?" and he did not react. I said "Hello?" a little louder to which he did not react. I thought he could not hear me through the glass. I proceeded to a door that led to the testing area but it said "Employees Only" so I didn't enter. I went back to the window and saw a sign saying to ring the bell for service. I rang it but I didn't hear it ring.....still no reaction from Charles. It appeared that he didn't know I was there. I proceeded to knock on the glass at which point Charles turned towards me and rudely stated in a condescending tone, "I'm in a meeting. You need to sit down and wait!" I'm not sure who Charles thinks he is but he could have simply lifted a finger gesturing to me that he will be with me when he can. He was so rude that I asked for his name and he grumbled something unintelligible. He then turned towards continue to ignore me. I saw the side door to the office (which said nothing about no entry) and opened it to ask him his name again. When I opened the door, he threatened me. I told him I didn't hear his name to which he said "You have 30 seconds..." I asked him "Thirty seconds for what?" not knowing if he was going to assault me, shoot me or what. He said "Until I call the police." I told him to go ahead and call the police. Completely rude and unprofessional behavior from someone that is the manager nonetheless. The photo below is what Charles looked like the entire time I was trying to get his attention. I would say that I would recommend this Air Care Colorado for emissions testing because the technicians have always been nice, but if you need to deal with Charles, be cautious.

I ended up having to go back again after realizing I also needed a VIN verification - to anyone needing ONLY the VIN verification, you don't need to go to the lanes for the emissions testing, you can park outside the doors at the side of the building. Either didn't know what he was taking about, didn't want to serve customers, didn't know how to drive my car or want to take my money. The manager and the tech were no help at all. Go anywhere but here as everyone is rude and clearly don't know what they are telling people
