a coffee cart in a coffee shop

Small restaurant with a breakfast and sandwich menu. Food is made to order, so you need to plan and add a few minutes to your traveling schedule. Coffee is ready to go so if you need coffee, this is a good option since coffee here is good (mild/medium/bold). I had time to kill, got a egg & cheese muffin with a coffee, and for a simple meal it was really good. I was able to get a tables and pull out my laptop. The place is quiet, and the people are super friendly. I would just come back to talk to them again.

The name is Highlands Grill. It is located inside the airport, on the second floor, outside the airport security area. They serve breakfast and lunch. You order your food then sit down and come get your food when your number is called. Clam chowder was very good. Grilled cheese was excellent, with lots of cheese and butter. Prices are high, as you would expect inside an airport.

Nice little airport cafe, can get busy if a stop over flight drops in. Basic NE type cafe menu, some variety. The highlight is the lobster roll, which has a substantial amount of meat, and is priced accordingly. I wish I had ordered the fries, they looked legit. Not a bad spot to hit up on a trip to this airport.

Great service. Food is pretty good considering being in an airport setting. Place was a life savior when flight was cancelled.

Service was very polite and expedient. Bacon egg and cheese bagel was fantastic! Very reasonably priced for airport food.

We went to "family Restaurants", local pizza place, Sea dogs by the water, McLaughlins (great food but man, they need umbrellas over their tables!!). Anglers was also good but kind of far. The food at Blue Skye Lounge is excellent! One wouldn't think it would be so great at a pub style lounge but one would sadly miss a good meal by not heading into this lounge. Yes, service can be a tad slow, but the bar is always quite busy, so tables wait a bit for service. We go in with our grandchildren. They LOVE the mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and the pizza! It's the best around, I swear, and at a VERY reasonable price. During happy hour, you can't beat the prices. Chicken tenders are always perfectly cooked and at $8.00 an order, it's the best deal around. Mozzarella sticks? They love them and at $5.00 an order, it makes the grand parents smile We went several times during this visit. Our last being Wednesday evening. (Our Wednesday morning flight had been cancelled!) Bree was our waitress and she was the best! She was busy, but right there for refills, and checking to see if everything was good. She's a gem at the Blue Skye lounge!

This place is the BOMB!…read more I've lived in Southern Maine for over 30 years, and while I have heard ALL about Dysarts, I haven't made the trek before now. It took a concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheater to get me to head north, and I am SO glad I did! We got a booth pretty quickly, and even though we were both recommended (several) times to go with the breakfast menu, we ended up ordering one hot open-face turkey sandwich and a pot roast dinner. The turkey sandwich was fantastic, plentiful, and smothered in gravy. I also requested extra cranberry sauce (always), which was perfect. The pot roast dinner started with the most excellent dinner rolls, fresh and warm, then moved to a giant portion of pot roast with gravy, real mashed potatoes, and a side of peas (also perfect). We would have stayed longer and ordered more, but it was time to go, and we were stuffed. Next time.

Great for larger and smaller groups. It was fun to see kids here before their prom/dance. It's really for everyone here. We ALWAYS order breakfast here - it's consistently great! I love their pancakes and their hash. Before we leave, we always get a few things to-go. The most recent trip we were lucky enough to snag their famous dinner rolls. So good for the holidays...or in our case...Sunday LOL We are a fan of their cookies as well. The pumpkin chip ones are our favorites. If you don't see something, you can ask, as they might have more in the back. Always a great time when we are up North a few times a year.

Title: Great vibes, fantastic drinks, but skip the unsolicited lecture…read more We're visiting Bangor for the first time and were absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this spot while walking downtown. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for in a local coffee shop--loved the aesthetic, the crowd was friendly, and having the lounge area next door is a fantastic touch. The drinks themselves? Delicious. The person at the register clearly knows how to pull a great shot and make a beautiful beverage. However, we had a really odd interaction while ordering. Without any prompting from us, the barista launched into a strange, unsolicited lecture about whether a Café Mocha is Italian or American, speaking to us as if we had never had coffee outside of the U.S. It was especially baffling given that we've visited Italy numerous times. We didn't ask for the history lesson, and being talked down to for no reason definitely left a sour note on an otherwise lovely visit. The bottom line: Absolutely come here for the cozy space and the high-quality drinks. Just hope the person at the register decides to skip the coffee trivia and just make the amazing drinks they clearly know how to make.
