Pick up the car, get 30 minutes down the road and car breaks down leaking oil again. Take it to a place in Springfield, MO and they find there is a leak from the oil separator/PCV. Real through job by Branson Tire to just assume it was a plastic oil pan and not inspect anything further up the system. They were flexible on allowing me to buy the parts myself and also very honest about cost, labor, etc. and honored the pricing they quoted. In addition to buying my own parts I was able to have some additional new parts replaced at the same time when everything was put back together helping me save some more money. They even saved any unused new Toyota antifreeze I bought and pre diluted it for me for future use instead of keeping it or throwing it away. In addition the regular repair they also kept an eye out for any other potential problems that might need attention to very soon. I greatly appreciate their honesty and their flexibility to help a person out. I highly recommend them and will certainly continue to take my truck here.

A&L Automotive came to my rescue while on an out of town trip last fall and I'm very grateful. It…read morewas a Saturday morning. Friend and I were driving to breakfast when all of a sudden my dashboard lit up and my car stopped working! We coasted into the nearby restaurant where we were headed thankfully. We got out and did the obvious - look under the hood for fluid leaks, smoke, etc... but nothing for the plain eye to see. I went to Yelp to see if there were any services near that could help and that is when I found this shop. I called A&L, told them what happened and they kept it real with me basically saying they didn't know what it could be either, but they could fit me in that morning to take a look. I decided to have the car towed versus trying to drive it and possibly damage it further. I asked if they knew any tow companies and they gave me info for a local company they do business with (that was also excellent btw!). Once my car arrived at A&L they let me know they were close to finishing up another vehicle and would look into mine after they were done. They have a very small waiting area which is set up nicely with a couch, tv with all entertainment you could want and a vending machine. It really is only big enough for a couple people. When it was my turn, they looked at the car while I chilled in the waiting area de-stressing watching tv. They came back, explained the problem, quoted me a price and let me know they could fix it that same morning while I waited! WOW! They did have to send someone for the part. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. I accepted. (Note I later discussed what happened with my existing local trusted mechanic and he confirmed their pricing was AMAZING as was the fact they were able to help so quickly. As a non-mechanical person there is a lot of trust that goes here). They had my problem diagnosed, resolved and paid for all in a few hours. I was very impressed! My friend even stated this was a blessing as many shops have waiting lists right now for basic items. Summary - USE this shop! Take your car here! They are trustworthy, efficient, affordable and no bs. They do what they say they can do and they are upfront about now being able to diagnose without seeing the vehicle.
