Latest issue was severe front end noise on a Jeep Compass. Control arms were just about shot. Finished the job same day, and I asked them to look at brakes also, and they said brakes were fine. Somewhat expensive, but in the neighborhood I was expecting. Same vehicle had other problems a year or so ago, and a thorough repair was performed. Advised of some potential down-the-line problems. Hope to never need them again, but I will absolutely use them again if necessary.

Friend and I were driving to breakfast when all of a sudden my dashboard lit up and my car stopped working! We coasted into the nearby restaurant where we were headed thankfully. We got out and did the obvious - look under the hood for fluid leaks, smoke, etc... but nothing for the plain eye to see. I went to Yelp to see if there were any services near that could help and that is when I found this shop. I called A&L, told them what happened and they kept it real with me basically saying they didn't know what it could be either, but they could fit me in that morning to take a look. I decided to have the car towed versus trying to drive it and possibly damage it further. I asked if they knew any tow companies and they gave me info for a local company they do business with (that was also excellent btw!). Once my car arrived at A&L they let me know they were close to finishing up another vehicle and would look into mine after they were done. They have a very small waiting area which is set up nicely with a couch, tv with all entertainment you could want and a vending machine. It really is only big enough for a couple people. When it was my turn, they looked at the car while I chilled in the waiting area de-stressing watching tv. They came back, explained the problem, quoted me a price and let me know they could fix it that same morning while I waited! WOW! They did have to send someone for the part. The pricing also seemed very reasonable. I accepted. (Note I later discussed what happened with my existing local trusted mechanic and he confirmed their pricing was AMAZING as was the fact they were able to help so quickly. As a non-mechanical person there is a lot of trust that goes here). They had my problem diagnosed, resolved and paid for all in a few hours. I was very impressed! My friend even stated this was a blessing as many shops have waiting lists right now for basic items. Summary - USE this shop! Take your car here! They are trustworthy, efficient, affordable and no bs. They do what they say they can do and they are upfront about now being able to diagnose without seeing the vehicle.

I've been there for a diagnostic, estimate for a hub replacement, they recently took care of us after a wheel actually fell off the f'g car. We had it towed there on a weekend, Friday they called for verification of what had happened, by noon the repairs were done, at a great price, I might add. I personally know four people that get all their work done there and, again, nothing but good things to say.

My son and his 3 daughters (all under 12) had an oil leak that caused them to get towed to this…read morebusiness. They told them it was a crack in the plastic oil pan. Installed a metal oil pan and oil and told them it was "good to go". They stressed they had an 8-hour drive to Indiana and asked for them to do a 2nd driving test. They said it was "good to go". Pick up the car, get 30 minutes down the road and car breaks down leaking oil again. Take it to a place in Springfield, MO and they find there is a leak from the oil separator/PCV. Real through job by Branson Tire to just assume it was a plastic oil pan and not inspect anything further up the system. If you are traveling through Branson and have problems, don't count on this place, they know you are out of towners and just do enough to get you on your way and fatten their wallets.

I went into have a lower ball joint inspected. They told me that I needed a left outer tie rod end…read more Lower control arm and two front stunts. Those did need repair. Lower control arm was done by them in February and they gave me grief that that was under warranty. When it was time to go up in the alignment rack they told be they couldn't to it because the inner and outer tie rods were "seized" stuck and they couldn't do it without replacing the passenger inner and outer tie rod. I asked them how far it was out. After I asked them how far it was out, they had no answers and they pulled it on the rack. The toe was out on the side they did the tie rod and lower control arm work. Why were they trying to adjust this rod ends on the passenger side if they didn't even have it on the rack in the first place. After it was on the rack it didn't need any adjustments on that side at all. I will be calling the owner then look at options with the courts. Total fraud. They prey on people they think that are just on vacation. I live here. Please dont let them try to scam you like they did me!

This included a/c compressor and other work they said need to be done . We decided to pull from savings and a friend helped us with some and we had all repairs fixed. (My husband is disabled and I need a working car.) After a few days of getting the car back, it started making noise. I checked fluids and there was 0 transmission fluid. I went to the store and purchased transmission fluid and filled her up. A few days later my power steering started whining. I brought it by and they said my pump was probably going out and I'd have to make an appointment and drop it off to them for checking and repair. When I got home I checked fluid and that, too, was empty. I filled it up and thought all was good. When weather got warmer I needed my a/c for the first time since the "repairs/replacement" of my compressor and hoses that they said were bad. (It worked perfectly and blew cold when I brought it in.) My ac didn't work when the car was moving, only when sitting still. I brought it to them and they said I'd have to make an appointment (a week later) to have them look at it. I did and they "fixed" it and I went and picked it up after hours when I got off work. It still wasn't fixed so the next morning we called and again they say I need an appointment a week later. They said it may need an OEM compressor and that would cost an additional $100. We brought it back to them and they called us the next day and said the was nothing they could do and that we needed to bring it to the Cadi dealership in Springfield. We did and their mechanic showed us that the plug was never put back on the compressor and that it would be $2500 to replace the compressor that was improperly done by Art's. We will never take another vehicle to them or recommend them to anyone!

They fit us in and was able to diagnose that it was a battery changed the battery and we were able to make it to my grandson that afternoon by two!! Thank you !!
