Their RV Campground was booked, so I did a quick internet search. I found Bass Haven. I called them up, and with little notice, they had me a spot available. Very nice owner. She and her nephew met us when we arrived and guided us into your spot. They provided local knowledge about the Springs as well. Nice management as well as nice neighbors. The bathhouse and restrooms were very clean!

They only have a few spots for travelers. We got one of the pull through sites. Pull through sites do not have sewer. Great spot right on the water. Had a great time watching birds, turtles and in the evening even saw a beaver. Bathroom and laundry very clean. Showers are a decent size. Small little store, free wifi. Very friendly people within the park. We were in our 40' class a. A little tight coming into the park but doable. Passport America rate about $16 a night.

So when I was finally ready to start my RV adventures, I bought a one-year membership. For the low price of $44, I get 50% off on a long list of campgrounds. Two stays and it's paid for itself. Their app works very well with telling me where the nearest ones are and I can pinch/move on my phone to find campgrounds that are members in the places I'm headed. Instant information on prices, discounts and amenities. Awesome. I'm so glad I joined. If you're thinking about RVing and looking to save some money on campgrounds, join up! Several years ago my Passport America membership was decent and we used it when we could. However,…read moreit is becoming less and less useful nowadays. The RV Parks that accept PA are usually less than desirable (that's being kind) and the better parks (ie; one's that are somewhat clean and safe) have so many restrictions that it's not worth trying to get in and the locations of those parks are out of the way. Bottom line, the membership has little to know value anymore and I would be surprised if Passport America will even exist much longer. I won't even go into the poor customer service. Ugh.

You sign a waiver and you have to weigh between 70 to 250 pounds for the zip line. Our two tour guides Jaeda and Spencer were amazing. As someone who's never zip lined before, they were comforting and patient. I think this zip line tour was good for beginners and kids. I think there were 10(?) zip lines that were approx 300 feet each. I'd prefer a longer one next time!

It is always going to be 5 star review for the Resort but this time if this review was for the Ranger I would give a ONE star because he has decided to not buy dog poop bags and some people just don't clean up after their dogs if you don't provide the basics because they are not prepared and I don't blame them because you expect to find bags like in ANY other Florida State Park to find poop bags all over. Now instead there is dog sh!t in some places that the Ranger should go and pick it up himself just because he is trying to save money to finish construction of his new office and moving resources from one budget item to another is not the solution, please poop bags are a must Mr Ranger, adhere to your budget and buy some bags so whoever is unprepared can clean up after their dog.

Called them on Monday afternoon and we were told the credit card part on the website wasn't set up. So we asked to make a reservation. We were told we didn't need one just show up. When we arrived we drove down a single lane pothole riddled clay road for a half mile. Upon arriving at the entrance we were greeted with a river crossing to actually get to the facility and parking area (picture below). If I had a truck it wouldn't have been bad but the ruts under the water surface were at least 2 ft deep. Driving a Honda Accord through this "Entrance" was not an option. So we turned around and went to the competitors canoe rental. My one star rating is only based on my attempt to get there. I did not actually get to use their facilities or services. It would have been nice to be told of the water crossing by the employee on the phone. If you do go there "ASK" about the water depth if you are driving a car.
