They only have a few spots for travelers. We got one of the pull through sites. Pull through sites do not have sewer. Great spot right on the water. Had a great time watching birds, turtles and in the evening even saw a beaver. Bathroom and laundry very clean. Showers are a decent size. Small little store, free wifi. Very friendly people within the park. We were in our 40' class a. A little tight coming into the park but doable. Passport America rate about $16 a night.

The RV Parks that accept PA are usually less than desirable (that's being kind) and the better parks (ie; one's that are somewhat clean and safe) have so many restrictions that it's not worth trying to get in and the locations of those parks are out of the way. Bottom line, the membership has little to know value anymore and I would be surprised if Passport America will even exist much longer. I won't even go into the poor customer service. Ugh.

You sign a waiver and you have to weigh between 70 to 250 pounds for the zip line. Our two tour guides Jaeda and Spencer were amazing. As someone who's never zip lined before, they were comforting and patient. I think this zip line tour was good for beginners and kids. I think there were 10(?) zip lines that were approx 300 feet each. I'd prefer a longer one next time!

It is always going to be 5 star review for the Resort but this time if this review was for the Ranger I would give a ONE star because he has decided to not buy dog poop bags and some people just don't clean up after their dogs if you don't provide the basics because they are not prepared and I don't blame them because you expect to find bags like in ANY other Florida State Park to find poop bags all over. Now instead there is dog sh!t in some places that the Ranger should go and pick it up himself just because he is trying to save money to finish construction of his new office and moving resources from one budget item to another is not the solution, please poop bags are a must Mr Ranger, adhere to your budget and buy some bags so whoever is unprepared can clean up after their dog.

If you are camped north of the office building you will hear heavy traffic starting about 6:30 am. This is not the fault of the RV park. It just is and its pretty noisy. If you plan on being there longer than a month expect the worst camping spots with limited to no view. The scenic sites are for the short term guests. I thought it was a strange business plan... but its not mine. The trees afford plenty of shade and be careful pulling through depending on the height of your rig. Cats! There are freaking cats everywhere. They are cared for by the property management. I dont mind the cats but as an individual with a registered ADA service animal this was a bit problematic since the cats were fed right in front of my RV door. Even a working animal has temptations while not in work mode. Bad habits were barely avoided. The cats are friendly. So friendly that they will meow and scratch to come in. Usually about 3:30 am when its chilly outside. So ya... the cats were pretty off putting. The management had no available sites to move us in the nearly empty campground. Weird flex. However; the girls running the place were always friendly. Positive side-the little beach is awesome. Its a great place to let the dog run, splash and also enjoy a great sunset. Would I go back?Probably not. Would I recommend? Depending on what one was looking for, sure. *disclaimer-we left the retreat early due to some business that came. I was offered another spot with a better view. It didnt seem worth the effort to pack everything up, unhook, close up the slides and move 100 yards. But, they did offer.

Well shaded by lovely old trees, breeze coming off the water and a few steps from the shore. Everything we had hoped for. Destin was 30 minutes away if you wanted shops and tons of crowds. We did not. Navarre beach was a 10 minute drive with free beach parking. We spent a great deal of time on the beach at the campsite swimming and getting some sun. Very relaxing. Facilities were clean a tad run down but it suited us. We were there to enjoy some relaxation and quiet time together. We will be back. Well worth the price to be on the ocean.

Looked like a good place to go so we tried booking a reservation for two days (Sun/Mon). Website…read morewould not take a credit card (error messages). Called them on Monday afternoon and we were told the credit card part on the website wasn't set up. So we asked to make a reservation. We were told we didn't need one just show up. When we arrived we drove down a single lane pothole riddled clay road for a half mile. Upon arriving at the entrance we were greeted with a river crossing to actually get to the facility and parking area (picture below). If I had a truck it wouldn't have been bad but the ruts under the water surface were at least 2 ft deep. Driving a Honda Accord through this "Entrance" was not an option. So we turned around and went to the competitors canoe rental. My one star rating is only based on my attempt to get there. I did not actually get to use their facilities or services. It would have been nice to be told of the water crossing by the employee on the phone. If you do go there "ASK" about the water depth if you are driving a car.

I'm downgrading it greatly for the unbelievable amount of beer cans that I saw that seemed to literally litter every square foot of the trails. At one point I got off the ATV and counted every beer can I could see while I slowly turned around. I lost track at 57 beer cans. It was really heart-breaking. Why couldn't you have a couple of giant trash cans around the property and encourage people to pick up the beer cans and toss them here?
