First of all, I have to compliment the staff. Their hospitality was top-notch every time we interacted with them. Friendly and professional, each person we spoke with acted like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time at the resort. The campsites and grounds are also high-quality. Our site on the C loop was levelly paved, comfortable and I like how the hookup pedestal has some ambient light near the top to assist with connections at night. There were families all over the place enjoying the weekend and you had to be on the lookout for kids on bikes / running around. Not a big deal, though. Most families left by Sunday afternoon and the subsequent weekdays were quiet. The resort also has lots of scheduled activities going on; more than we expected, honestly. Lots of fun during the day and evening hours. And the resort is only 35-40 min from Navarre, FL & Opal Beach if you want to get some coastal time in. The waterpark area is small when compared to major waterparks, but I think that's a positive. There's enough room and water to play in, but not so much you feel like you are at an over-crowded major attraction. The food is actually pretty good as well! Lots of choices between the food truck area and the Biergarten. And since you get these nifty RFID wristbands, you never have to carry a credit card with you. Super easy to pay for food, normal drinks and adult beverages. Lastly, I need to comment on the facilities in general. They are definitely clean and look good. The showerhouses are very nice, well lit and sanitary. I'm not sure when, but we will be back!

Looked like a good place to go so we tried booking a reservation for two days (Sun/Mon). Website…read morewould not take a credit card (error messages). Called them on Monday afternoon and we were told the credit card part on the website wasn't set up. So we asked to make a reservation. We were told we didn't need one just show up. When we arrived we drove down a single lane pothole riddled clay road for a half mile. Upon arriving at the entrance we were greeted with a river crossing to actually get to the facility and parking area (picture below). If I had a truck it wouldn't have been bad but the ruts under the water surface were at least 2 ft deep. Driving a Honda Accord through this "Entrance" was not an option. So we turned around and went to the competitors canoe rental. My one star rating is only based on my attempt to get there. I did not actually get to use their facilities or services. It would have been nice to be told of the water crossing by the employee on the phone. If you do go there "ASK" about the water depth if you are driving a car.

Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. I'd stay here again.

The owners are incredibly warm and present, you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We saw them every day, and that personal touch made the experience feel welcoming and safe, not just like another RV stop. The park itself is small and cozy, which we loved. It creates a peaceful, community feel without any of the noise or chaos you sometimes get at larger parks. Traveling with our dog can sometimes be challenging, but not here. The fenced dog area was a huge win,our pup absolutely loved it and felt comfortable enough to play and explore freely. That alone made our stay so much more relaxing. Now, I have to talk about the facilities,because I'm very particular about this. The showers and bathrooms are, without question, the best I've ever experienced at an RV park. They are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and this is key, there's actually space to set down all your things. Anyone who travels regularly knows how rare and appreciated that is. It was empty, clean, and quiet - and we were only there to sleep in our new Airstream. Cons: -Wendy charged us for a premium spot when we were actually in the world's smallest pull through that was shockingly meant to cram 2 RVs into (how???), no view, just run down trailers. If they had tried to smash another RV behind to our $200,000+ Airstream, we would have left immediately. Wendy charged us $63 for a $55 site, and also disregarded the Harvest Host 10% discount. -Almost no amenities. No internet, no toilets, no showers. No walking path (blocked by down trees). -They have left all the fallen trees. Everywhere. I get insurance can take a minute, but it's so trashy. Call someone with a chainsaw. -The rules are insane. This is HOA Karen, on steroids. Its basically a trailer park that appears to cater to those who have fallen on hard times (we didn't know this) living there long term. The insane rules like telling you that you must waive your dog poop bags around so they're visible (yes, really), you cant allow your pets to tinkle on anyone's site (there's literally nowhere but the street to walk them due to fallen trees). But you can't have a pet playpen to contain them on your own site, which is a strip so small a picnic table can't fit across. So you have to pace with your pet on a lead, on your 3 feet of grass. You will never feel as unwelcome as you do here. It's full of rough trade, overpriced, and we were overcharged. Never again. Pros: we slept in our Airstream and kept the shades drawn.

The RV Parks that accept PA are usually less than desirable (that's being kind) and the better parks (ie; one's that are somewhat clean and safe) have so many restrictions that it's not worth trying to get in and the locations of those parks are out of the way. Bottom line, the membership has little to know value anymore and I would be surprised if Passport America will even exist much longer. I won't even go into the poor customer service. Ugh.
