I made an appointment with Lauren yesterday and had a PCA peel done and this morning my face looked flawless/fabulous. I was really happy with the results of the peel. My face was not red nor irritated but had a nice glow. Lauren is a wonderful person who takes pride in her work and assesses each client's skin to provide them with treatments or peels that will benefit them. Lauren's prices are very reasonable and affordable if your familiar with peels, facials, etc. (cost). I am happy to get my final appointment with Lauren this month as she is relocating out of state. She will be greatly missed here in Cali but a gem for new clients in her new home base.

Treatment is ongoing, but I'm already getting compliments on how great my skin looks from family and friends! Not only do I credit Lauren for the improvement in the appearance of my skin, but she has me hooked on researching the latest in skin care products. I would not have discovered PCA skin care and tarte cosmetics if it weren't for the lively discussions we have on skincare during my facial sessions. She is extremely knowledgeable about skin care products and I feel we can talk for hours on the subject without feeling pressured to buy anything directly from her (she is not trying to sell the products we discuss and will often refer me to Amazon.com or directly to the manufacturer's website for purchase). There are a lot of reasons why I will continue to go to Lauren for my facials, but the main reason is that she puts the health of my skin before anything else. I once came in for my PCA peel, but my skin was slightly irritated by a new facial scrub that I had used the day before. She was concerned that my skin would react negatively to the TCA peel in its sensitive state so we rescheduled for the following week. She felt terrible about the rescheduling, but ultimately, she wanted to make sure my skin was taken care of first! Definitely try this place out. Your skin will thank you! :)

When you look at this service on the website menu it say 60 mins for the same price listed. However, my service lasted 40 min, no extraction or scalp massage was given. I was so sad because I was looking forward to the scalp massage. When she was done she said "ok, get dressed and I'll meet you in the lobby". I looked at my clock it was only 40 mins. I felt so cheated but at this point didn't want to cause a seen. I asked her why I did not get 60 mins and she said I didn't have any extractions needed. Which is not true! And I don't feel like she even looked or attempted. I didn't bother asking about the scalp massage. I am not sure if stuff was cut short because I used a groupon?? Which I think is so wrong. I even tipped her on the full service price, despite not receiving what I paid for. She was nice and seemed professional until all was said and done. I hate reviewing people and really debated about doing this... but I feel like If you are offering a service then you should deliver. Even if I didn't have any "extractions" then you should fill the time with massage or something else. At the end of the day, I am paying for someone's time.. not the little serums put on my face.
