I had the pleasure of getting the best facial I've ever received from Ariel Patrick here at Heidi Lane Esthetics. It had all the usual treatments steaming, exfoliants and moisturizers for the face, but also included exfoliants and light, excellent massage on arms, hands, lower legs and feet. She also took off patches of hair and dead skin which left my skin super soft. As if all this weren't enough, she also trimmed my eyebrows in a new way so I no longer have stray hairs sticking out. I feel like I might have just stumbled across something that will change my life. Sounds dramatic - perhaps it is. But I really think this might be a game changer (I will update this review in a few months with results and let you know!). Some people fight the battle of acne as teenagers, I wasn't one of them. Others never deal with it, you lucky ducks. While the rest of us are graced with the lovely battle of adult acne, so sexy. Yesterday, at the peak of perhaps one of the most infuriating breakouts I have had in my adult experience, I pulled out my Yelp app, searched "facial", saw Heidi Lane at the top, and gave them a call after briefly looking at their list of services. Heidi answered the phone and was SO friendly. I explained to her that I am on a time pinch and have very limited hours in the day that I'd be able to come in, and that I wanted to get in soon to help calm the inflammation. She went through just about every possible appointment possible trying to get me on the schedule when we decided I'd have to settle for Sunday's waitlist. Then after hanging up a thought occurred to me and I called back, and got in for a short 30 minute peel appointment right when they opened today. Sarah did my facial peel and was wonderful. She asked me lots of questions about my skin care routine, gave me recommendations for ongoing treatment, and even some lifestyle hacks that will help (washing your pillow case every two days, probiotics, peppermint tea, makeup products, etc). For the first time, I feel like I actually know what I'm doing(ish) with my skin. I'm really looking forward to continuing working with Sarah towards the radiant skin of my dreams! I'm not blindly trying to navigate this beast anymore, I actually have a wonderful resource to guide me now and help me attack this from all angles. I went in about a month ago. I rarely leave negative reviews. I've never had a facial before and it seemed fine. She did nick me in a few spots during the microplaning or whatever it's called and didn't acknowledge it . The girl mentioned the free eyebrow waxing so sure why not. She put the wax so close to my eyelid and ripped off the skin. I emailed the owner and she didn't have much to say other than she would talk to her girls and to put a steroid cream on it. Well, I'm writing today because it left a scar above my eyelid. I never wear make up and unless I'm doing full blown eye makeup it isn't covered up. Pretty sad. I'm hoping with vitamin e oil it'll impove. Anyways just thought others should be aware of this. read more

I love this place! I went for the biomagnetic cupping and the experience was exceptional from the super friendly greeting at the door to the apple fizzy water on my way out, everything was perfect. Everyone at the location is friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy and feel good. This was my first time having this kind of cupping and not only was the result exceptional but they were really willing to help me understand the differences between this and the cupping you might get at an acupuncture​ center. The location is convenient and the parking was easy (since they are on Jefferson I was concerned it might not be). The building is beautiful, it's just the kind of place you want to spend time in downtown. Today I had a Signature Facial at Heidi Lane. Karen, at the Boise Bench location made it an utterly perfect experience. She knows her stuff and is a joy to be around. My skin looks amazing. I can't say that I've felt this way in a very long time. I'm turning 65 in a few months and it was the best early birthday gift I could have given myself. I'm not one to spend money on frivolity. This wasn't that. It was a much needed boost to my skin, my attitude and my confidence. Even running around without a stitch of makeup on, the rest of the day, I felt great. I keep having to go look in the mirror to see if what I saw when I came home, was really true. The results have gotten even better in the last few hours. I look several years younger. I recently relocated to Boise and was looking for a well experienced esthetician. Some people get facials for relaxation and some people get them to see results. While I enjoy relaxing, I really want to see results. Heidi was knowledgeable, personable, and took the time to listen to what I was looking to achieve. I love when estheticians tailor facials to your needs rather than giving you a menu to pick from. She recommended microneedling which is something that I was excited to try. It was completely pain free and had pretty much no down time. My skin looked hydrated and smooth immediately after. A couple of weeks went by and I felt like I continued to see subtle improvements to the acne scarring on my cheeks. She recommended products but wasn't pushy. I love this place. I decided to try it based on the products they use (e.g. Epicuren, PCA, Osea etc) and their rave reviews. Tamar is an amazing esthetician! The Works facial is the most effective facial I've ever had at reducing pore size, helping to tone the face etc. The micro-needling isn't my favorite haha but it's WORTH it. There are many relaxing & healing aspects to the facial too--like hot towels, arm & leg massage.
