Alli was fantastic!!…read more I'm from out of town and I'm only here for a week for vacation. I wanted to donate my hair, so I checked online for salons and called and made a very last minute appointment - same day and only 3 hours after I called. When I walked in and sat down, we discussed what I wanted to do and whether or not it was feasible. It turned out that in order for me to donate we'd almost have to shave the back of my head. Well, I was committed so I said that was OK with me. I pulled up some pictures on Pinterest, and away we went! It was a dry cut at first to get the donation done and get the general shape ready. Then there was the shampoo and the rest of the cut. It was a great experience and I walked out with a very edgy, short bob that suits me to a T. When I went to settle the check, I was amazed to find that because I donated my hair, the cut was free!!! Can't beat that, so I left a tip and went on my way. I couldn't have had a better experience!

My partner and I were looking for a salon while traveling, and came across Le Salon here on Yelp…read more Since it had good reviews we decided to give it a shot - him for a men's haircut and myself for a coloring. I tend to get a bit nervous going to new salons since I've had some bad blonde-ing experiences, but Carol (with some great help from her daughter) was absolutely amazing!!! She evened out a few bands I had from a previous stylist, and got me to an amazing, even platinum color (from very dark brown hair). What was even more impressive was she did this in 2 hours flat - typically I spend twice that long in the salon to do the same thing. With 40 years of experience, Carol is a rock star stylist. She gave my partner a stellar haircut as well, and both together were for a super affordable price. Everyone in the salon was really friendly, and it was a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. If we come through Charleston again in the future, this will be our go to place. Thanks again Carol!!

The whole staff is amazing and I have Dina as my stylist but would not hesitate to try any or there stylist as I have watched the job they do and it is first class. It is a very inviting salon that is upscale but casual both. You can tell everyone there cares and works together as a team. You feel very comfortable and relaxed. Usually when I walk out of a salon, I come home and fix my hair. When I walk out of Envy I love my hair and do not want to go to sleep in fear I might mess it up. The extra point is that I fix it the next day and it is still beautiful. To me it is always a perfect cut and color. Since moving to Daniel Island 3 years ago on a recommendation of a friend I found Envy and I feel very blessed.

I only got voicemail but I left a message saying I wanted to confirm my appointment for the afternoon and left my phone number. What disgraceful, inconsiderate and inexcusable service on the part of both the management and Kim not to inform me of the cancelled appointment! Needless to say, beware of making an appointment with them. I certainly never will again!

The salon is beautiful and if you need a simple haircut they can handle that…read more However, if you want any creative color, such as balayage, they do not have the skills to do so. They did not paint the dye on the hair, instead they used foils exactly like full foil, and the color was uneven - from brassy browns, to orange caramel blondes, to bright whites near my face. They placed the highlights completely randomly. I will not be going back due to my 250$ bill and my stylist's inability to candidly admit she did not know how to do balayage. I felt like I should not have paid for a service that was clearly done incorrectly and wasn't what we had agreed upon. The following day I had to go to a different salon and pay 350$ to fix the work this salon had done.
