My guided meditation with Heather proved both practical and educational. Despite my best efforts…read morein the past to perform even a 10 minute meditation, the experience was always unenjoyable and unsuccessful. But with Heather guiding me, it was different. I actually enjoyed it and didn't find it difficult. She began our appointment by explaining a few things to me, such as how to handle a wondering mind. She also told me what I can expect from a session and how to deal with somethings, such as seeing images and that I ought to simply observe them as art. Finally. She closed the meditation with a thorough grounding exercise that I appreciated being walked through and learned from. During my meditation, I did have some special experiences that I am grateful for, and Heather was able to give me some insights into the meanings of these experiences. After my session was over, and Heather had left, I felt amazing! BUT that does not excuse what took place. No one was at the venue until 15mins before it started so we couldn't setup. The Phone number we had kept going to voicemail and if it wasn't for someone who stopped by to speak to the owner about working together we would have never gotten inside to setup for the event. IDK what the story was as to why no one was there but really. Luckily it was still good. and luckily the food caterer was able to get the food out in time.

River School Farm was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends…read morethis fall. Close to the Truckee River, tucked in a little pocket of Reno by Mayberry Park, we couldn't have asked for a spot that felt as private and serene. We wanted our day to feel like a slightly fancy-outdoorsy family reunion and knew this spot would be perfect when we visited it in the spring. By the fall, the greenery around the venue had filled in, making the area (and all our photos) extra beautiful. The available space can be set up in many different layouts. The ceremony area easily fit our guest list of 40, with room to spare. Then, it doubled as an area for games and later a bit of casual dancing by just moving a few chairs. We loved having a few different but connected areas for guests to spend time together. The owners were so helpful explaining everything about the venue. Many thanks to both for sharing such a wonderful space that is clearly cared for and kept with much love.
