Worldwide Motors is the ultimate used car scam. I've purchased used cars from private and used car…read moredealers and this was hands down the worst experience. A man introduced himself as AJ and he lied about the Nissan Rogue I wanted to purchase. He told me Worldwide Motors had inspected the SUV and it had no damage. He said all Worldwide Motors did was inspect it and clean it. He also handed me a Carfax that indicated 0 accidents. (Later on, I looked up a legitimate Carfax myself and it showed 1 accident w/ bumper damage)! They must have photoshopped it?! Worldwide Motors printed a FAKE Carfax print out. Thinking this SUV had no accidents, I asked if he 'fixed anything on this used car?' he said 'no'. Unfortunately I believed what AJ told me and agreed to purchase the SUV for a 'good deal' or so I thought. I then noticed the back side fender panel was misaligned. Asking him about it, he told me I was knit picking. AJ put me down for being discerning. He said that he didn't see anything wrong (as he manually tried to pop the fender back in place). Later when I was negotiating down on price due to fender being popped out, he said 'it's nothing, we repaired and painted that area as there was a small scratch from the parking lot'. AJ couldn't remember all the lies that were flying out of his mouth. He initially told me they only inspected and cleaned the SUV. I needed a car and it was a good 'deal' so I didn't follow my gut and I agreed to purchase the SUV. I paid AJ cash and he put the cash in a safe in the other room. I had signed all the paperwork and was looking at the price - I noticed AJ stated on the paperwork the car was only $9k. When I addressed it and said 'that's not legal and I want my money back', he only offered to give me $9k back! He wouldn't return the full amount of cash I had just handed him, forcing me to buy the car. To make matters worse, I had to leave the car there bc I had negotiated he fix the fender issue as part of the sale. He said he would fix the issue so I waited 2 days to drive it off the lot. When I did, he had switch out the wipers for rusty used wipers and the back mats were from a different vehicle and very worn from the new wipers and mats he had sold me. I didn't notice these things until I was home & wasn't about to go back to the dealership. I was exhausted from filtering though the lies! I've never left a one star on Yelp, but IF I CAN HELP ONE PERSON from getting screwed by AJ and World Motors it's worth it. (In fact if there were a 0 star option, I would leave it).

5 Stars - Outstanding Experience at Miramar Motorsports…read more My wife and I recently purchased a Toyota Sequoia from Miramar Motorsports, and we could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. As a 67-year-old business owner, I have purchased many vehicles over the years for both personal and business use. Without hesitation, I can say that Miramar Motorsports is one of the most professional, organized, and customer-focused dealerships I have ever worked with anywhere in the country. Miramar Motorsports is a family-owned business, and we had the pleasure of working directly with Ali and Mike. From start to finish, they were friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. They made us feel valued throughout the entire process. The Toyota Sequoia we purchased was exactly as advertised and in outstanding condition. What really impressed me was the level of care and attention they put into preparing their vehicles. Their in-house mechanics thoroughly serviced the vehicle using quality replacement parts. Since the mileage was approaching the manufacturer's recommended timing belt service interval, they proactively replaced the timing belt and addressed other important maintenance items at the same time. They also replaced the water pump, front brakes, and rotors, ensuring the vehicle was ready for years of reliable service. Another thoughtful touch was that they had the catalytic converter stamped for identification purposes in the event it is ever stolen. This demonstrated their commitment to protecting their customers even after the sale. The paperwork process was equally impressive. Everything was handled professionally and presented in a well-organized binder. They took the time to review the Carfax report with us line by line, explaining every detail and answering all of our questions. As an added bonus, they even sent us home with a full tank of gas. Anyone living in California knows that's not a small gesture these days! It's just another example of the extra steps they take to make sure their customers leave completely satisfied. I simply cannot say enough positive things about the way we were treated by everyone at Miramar Motorsports. Their honesty, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. When it comes time to purchase another vehicle, I will absolutely return to Miramar Motorsports and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and an outstanding buying experience.

But I kept procrastinating because I couldn't stomach the thought of going to a dealership and spending too much time with the back and forth haggling....Then I read a post on NextDoor where someone raved about using the services of an auto broker named Branco Motors. So I thought to myself, "Why not try them out"? instead of going through the Costco buying service that I'd been contemplating using. I spoke with Grant Ruthenberg and told him the model I was interested in. He explained the he receives a fee from the dealership but he'd be working to get me the best price. He got back to me the very next day with what I was looking for. Ever the skeptic, I ran his proposal and the invoice through ChatGPT and asked if I'd gotten a reasonable deal. ChatGPT answered, "FINAL VERDICT: This is a fair, clean, and pretty good deal. You could spend weeks calling dealers and possibly not do better. You're not being overcharged. The numbers match reality. And the transparency is excellent." So who was I to argue? I told Grant to go ahead with the purchase and he told me the car could be delivered the next day. I was informed about the ETA of delivery and given a more precise ETA as they had more info (the car was coming from Riverside and I'm in Bonita). Grant had me sign the paperwork and explained what I was signing when questions arose. I gave him the check and then we went out, sat in the SUV and he explained all the new features. He set up the Apple CarPlay and paired my garage door opener so that I no longer had to use the remote. When I no longer had questions about the Palisade he graciously moved my very heavy dog crates to the new car! Above and beyond!
