I had done stretching, massages, hot tubs, etc anything to get the pain away and it wouldn't. One day after I saw Doctor Smart I immediately felt a relief of pain! I was astonished! I had apprehensions at first and wasn't sure if this was what I needed but I would recommend Doctor Smart and his practice to anybody! Every person is so kind and caring and want to help no matter how big or small. I see Allie, twice a week and she has made me not wake up in pain for the first time since my stroke. This isn't any normal PT, they don't do the same thing every time and send you home with more at home exercises then you normally do in the hour you are seen. They work with you. They care about you. They want you to be, in my case, pain-free, and better after every session. Truthfully, whenever I have to move I am going to be crushed to leave my friend here at NPT & Co. And the ON shoes, sooooo amazing! they took a while to convince me and now I am sad it took me so long. my knee doesn't hurt as much after standing on my feet and I don't have to ask someone to tie my shoes. which being 26, and not being able to tie your shoes sucks and there were no cute alternatives! until these, super cute and super reliable.

The big tree, lights, little details everywhere. While visiting, they had a horse and carriage come to pick up the residents for a ride around Newport. The smiles on their faces were enormous. Once everyone came inside, we were treated to hot chocolate and other goodies. They also had a wonderful program called "Elves for Elders", where residents make wish lists and people surprise them with gifts, it was just really thoughtful and added so much Christmas magic. It truly was a winter wonderland. Thank you Village House staff for everything you have done for my mother!

However, when I arrived, the rock music being piped into the waiting area was slightly too loud and jarring. I asked that it be turned down. I would suggest that for people with foot ailments, some other style of soothing, restorative music playing low, would be more appropriate. I have a good feeling about the potential care and treatment that I will continue to receive. It's too early to tell after just one visit but so far, so good.

I was told three different occasions that the reason for the smell was due to the air conditioner requiring replacement- that can not explain why everything has dust/dirt on it- was also told that all equipment is cleaned after every patient and that is just a blatant insult to the intelligence of anyone with eyes. I thoroughly enjoyed the kindness and professionalism of my PT Leo- I just wish the building and equipment was less like a family business and more like a medical establishment.
