The ambience is clean but still hews classic with wood accents and butcher paper serving as your plate. We ended up sitting at the bar as we wanted to enjoy one of the many well curated local beers Lewis offers on tap. Bonus points for having bar height high chairs for our little one. We opted to sample four meats and three sides. This amount of food proved perfect for the two of us and our hungry 14 month old. All of the meats carried a discernible smoky taste and aroma with meltingly tender textures and ample seasoning. We enjoyed the meaty pork ribs and tender brisket the most, but everything we sampled had merit. The meats do not need sauce, strictly speaking, though you'd be remiss to pass on Lewis' Tex-Mex infused tasty condiments, which complement all of the meats rather well.
