A beautiful piece of furniture in my house was torn up by my adorable young kitten (she apparently…read morethought it was a scratch pad) so I did my research as always and I was so happy to find Ignacio at I & A Quality Upholstery. I ordered the new "scratch resistant" fabric that was needed to cover both arms on my piece of furniture. Ignacio was very nice and highly professional. He came out to my home and carefully placed my furniture piece in his van. Ignacio asked me what fabric color I would like to use for the trim which was very thoughtful of him. He did an amazing job of removing the damaged fabric and replacing it with my new fabric. He brought my re-upholstered furniture back to my home about 2 weeks later. Now my cat can enjoy her "furniture scratch pad routine" without doing any visible damage to it! Ignacio's professional fees to perform these specialized services were very reasonable. He easily could have told me I needed a service visit, and I would've had no way of knowing otherwise since this isn't my area of expertise, but instead he was honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. It turned out something was simply unplugged under my chair. Once I plugged it back in, the headrest worked perfectly. The leg recliner still has some issues, but Steve even suggested that I could just use it as a regular chair instead of pushing for a paid repair. The fabric is heavier than usual and the chairs have a shaped back, adding to the difficulty. In addition, there is cording along every seam. They look better than new! With additional padding and a charge for bringing our own fabric it was bit pricey, but now that we've seen the quality and felt the comfort we are extremely satisfied. We're happy to support a local business and get more years out of perfectly good furniture. Craftsmanship is an amazing thing!
