So I told them I'll figure it out. Went to this shop, told them what the last place said, they could have sold me BS, and I would never know. I asked how much it would cost to grease the caliper pins and was told that it would take about an hours worth of labor. Late the next day I got a vm stating that the truck was ready for pick-up. When I picked the truck up, the bill was over $450. The caliper and brake shoes and brake hose had been replaced. I didn't ask for that. At the very least, I should have received a phone call with the update that was necessary. I would have asked him put it back together and repaired it myself. On top of that, he couldn't produce the take-out parts. His response was that he was just trying to make a living. This is a small town. Stuff like that generally doesn't happen here.
