I went to see The Lion King and it was fabulous! The theater is small enough to capture the details without binoculars or an additional screen. The music was captivating. The colors were vivid. The storyline was familiar, and the characters were great. I would absolutely go back to PPAC to watch this play, and looking forward to other plays coming later this year and next year.

The venue itself is beautiful, especially the theater. The seats are as you would expect - velvety and small. The sound and lights were great. I really enjoyed the show. I will say that at times, I felt distracted - it seemed like the audience was louder than I expected - especially with the snack bags. Oh well, what can you do At intermission the women's bathroom was a little bit of a you know what. But this seems to be a common problem with older theaters. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love doing things with my daughter and would enjoy such a class but I also feel as though she needs the ability to follow directions, learn on her own and mingle with others her age. The benefit of the class here is that there's an option to do that which is great! Miss Jamie is wonderful and there's usually a young lady or two (teenage dancers) helping out as well. Each class is different from week to week with different music and activities. The owner and instructors are all very friendly (we only go one time a week so I only see a subset). The only thing that stinks is that you have to either sit on the floor inside which for some kids is okay but we learned last week that our tot doesn't really pay attention or participate if we are inside and we must then stand outside and look through some glass. When I tried to stop training, they forced me to pay an extra month because of a "30‑day notice" clause, that translated to an extra $642 dollars for the month. Then I had to move from Rhode Island to Texas, well beyond their own 15‑mile rule for cancellation. They asked for proof of my new address, which realistically takes time because you only get that after you've actually moved. I waited, sent the proof they requested, and now they're still demanding the remaining three months of the contract before cancelling. To me, this is a PREDATORY, SCAM ‑LIKE way of doing business. If you're considering this gym, read every line of the contract and think twice. There are many other gyms with FAIR, FLEXIBLE memberships that don't punish you when life changes. It's a shame that such a great trainer like Nick is working for such a greedy company.
