The band was made up off of three guitarist, a keyboard player, a drummer (who happened to be a female, which was very cool because I don't see a lot of them), and two female lead singers. By and large, all the members of the band were baby boomers with the exception of the drummer who seemed to be maybe in her early 30s. The two female singers dance through most of the performance and the dancing left something to be desired. This doesn't matter because the performance overall is a singing performance, and the vocalist were excellent. The music of course was a total throwback to the amazing band ABBA. I enjoyed it immensely. The singers had lots of electric stage presence, great personalities, and talent. Other than the lackluster dancing parentheses (I didn't expect stellar dancing anyway!) the only negative comment I can make is that we got aisle seats next to each other. People sitting in the rows further in arrived later than we did so we had to get up to let them through. Later on in the performance, several of these people decided to get up and dance down in front of the stage so we had to get up again. After they dance, they came back to their seats and got their pocket books and then went out to the concession stand so we had to get up again. Afterwards, of course we had to let them back to their seats for the rest of the performance. Flipping pain in the neck, but this was not the fault of the performance or the theater. I highly recommend that you see this performance if you are able to! Just be sure to get seats next to the wall, the furthest in.

Every seat I've sat in has had a great view of these high-quality productions. I appreciate that you are given a physical program, but you scan the QR code for the full program. The staff are all friendly and happy to help. They offer a nice selection of snacks and drinks to purchase that you can bring into the theater. They also validate parking at the information desk after you scan your ticket. There's plenty of great restaurants nearby to have dinner at before an evening show - I try a new one each time I visit the ART. Plus, cannolis from Mike's Pastry are nearby, so no need to travel to the North End!

Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) is a witty, tender, and wonderfully modern musical that had the audience laughing out loud, tearing up, and giving a well-earned standing ovation. The chemistry between Dougal (Sam Tutty) and Robin (Christiani Pitts) lit up the stage. Their performances were heartfelt and magnetic, the songs both catchy and moving, and the direction made the streets of NYC feel like they were unfolding right before us. A brilliant mix of humor, soul, and genuine emotion. Huge kudos to the entire cast and crew for such a standout show. Don't miss it--performances have been extended through July 13th! The entire staff, regardless of positions and destinations were simply welcoming and engaging. Encore!

This was one of the best performances I've seen in a long time - deeply moving, beautifully acted & emotionally resonant from start to finish. Taavon Gamble was absolutely spectacular - his performance was nuanced, captivating & left a lasting impression. The entire cast & production team brought incredible energy & authenticity to the stage, making the story feel both intimate & universal. If you see one show this year, make it Primary Trust at Trinity Repertory Company. It is the kind of theater experience that stays with you long after the curtain falls. Highly recommend.

The space is nice, laid back vibe. From entering to being helped to our seats to exiting the theatre everyone was so nice. We definitely enjoyed the show. The parking is a bit pricey and the drinks are also pricey for a small glass with more ice than drink. The selection is also limited. They have a few snacks and a small area outside the theatre room where you can sit while you wait for the show to start.. I love coming to this theatre for shows. I just wish they would work on the pricing to drink ratio

A throwback to 1987! On Hollywood's Sunset Strip! This 5 Time Tony Award Nominee Musical will be Rocking BILL HANNEY's North Shore Music Theater for Hours! Packed with the Biggest Hit Makers! Look for my Review after I see it TONIGHT! Opening Night was a Smash Hit from the moment the North Shore Music Theater Orchestra started to play its opening number which energized the audience! We all knew that "ROCK of AGES", would be a high energy musical featuring the 1980's Classics of Rock and Medal Hits! Set, in 1987, Los Angeles Famous Sunset Strip, it follows character DREW/ played by EJ DOHRING. As an aspiring Rocker with high dreams. We all hoped he would succeed! SHERRIE/ played by CHELSEA WILLIAMS, as a small town country girl, looking to chase her Fame in LA! She was extremely believable in her character. STACEE JAXX & FATHER/ NATHANIEL HACKMAN, A flamboyant and very charismatic lead singer of ARSENAL, very sexy and believable character. LONNY/ MATT DaSILVA, The Clubs - Right-Hand Man and Jack of all Trades! Brilliantly executed in his Roll! So many other characters and ensemble to mention that you will have to go and see it for yourselves! This all plays out at the legendary club, "THE BOURBON CLUB". Pending an unexpected drama when HERTZ/ TOM GALANTICH, a Real Estate Developer looking to demolish all the building on the famed Sunset Strip! The audience reacted with cheers and applause when the most iconic songs were sung such as, " WE BUILT THIS CITY", " DON'T STOP BELIEVING ", " HERE I GO AGAIN". The North Shore Music Theater Orchestra really were amazing as always! This loud and fun party cast gave the audience their monies worth of laughs and humor with its explicit adult mannerisms and movements and the old saying, " Love the one you're with ", mentality! Truly in the 80's that's how it was. Bill Hanney - Owner/ Producer once again has made a big splash in Beverly at NSMT with ROCK of AGES! With his super hilarious, outrageous, raunchy, silly, loud, super campy production of " ROCK of AGES ". Thank you Bill for making your audience have another night of great productions here at NSMT!
