I attended a free barre class here through yelp. I had never taken a barre class and didn't know…read morewhat to expect. Our trainer Michelle was a wonderful teacher and very knowledgable. She is a career dancer, so it's not like other places where a fitness instructor just takes a few certification classes. Because of her experience, she is great at explaining how to move and hold your body and how to correct your form. With a maximum class size of 5 - 6, you will have as close to personal training as you can get. The space itself is also top notch. The whole gym has a luxe feel and the studio is small but airy and bright. Between the nice facilities and unique classes, they offer a lot that you won't find anywhere else.

My 5 stars are based on my experience with doing their non-training, weekday gym membership. To be…read morehonest, I'm not sure it's something they actively seek clients for, but since I live a block away and work from home it worked out well. I can tell this gym is focused on personal training and from the reviews looks like 5 stars there as well. But back to the part-time membership - worth every penny. Because they are a personal training gym, we usually always had the place to ourselves which I ended up really, really liking. When I was in fantastic shape, going to the regular gym was nothing, but when you've got some extra pounds to shed, having a nearly private space was amazing. I was concerned that because it was a personal training gym a trainer would eventually come up and try to sell me on some sessions, but that didn't happen. Unlike larger gyms I've been to! Also because they are personal training, you have just about every piece of free-weight/aerobic equipment that you could want, along with several machines - again at your disposal, no worrying about waiting for them. They also offer classes that look fun. Finally you CANNOT, I repeat cannot beat the atmosphere here. It is really cool inside, extremely clean, set-up well (2 floors), modern and the staff/owners are so friendly and pretty much mind their clients and not your presence. In conclusion, the weekday membership is not for everyone, but if you can swing it, it's worth it!

I've been practicing yoga and Pilates for several years, but in recent months I've been seeking a…read morenew exercise class to add to my existing routine. After some research I came to discover Mind Body Barre. I took a Mind Body Barre method class with Caitlin at the Rehoboth location and it was honestly one of the better exercise classes I've taken in recent years. The class runs about an hour and includes elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. The class runs at a moderate speed and is accompanied by modern pop music for the entire hour so it really keeps your energy up. The facility is spacious, clean, and well lit. the studio provides all of the equipment you will use in class but I would highly recommend bringing water and a towel. Parking is decent but I would arrive early to get a spot near the entrance. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to visiting the studio again!

Also the welcoming atmosphere makes first timers instantly at ease as regulars are all very friendly and chatty. I cannot say enough about how amazing this studio is. Population: Women Work out Style: Barre, Yoga & Pilates Bonus feature: Lavender cool down (5 minutes in Shivasana with the instructor adjusting you in a lavender scented room thanks to the aromatherapy spray they sell) My history: I am not an athletic type, nor in shape and only practiced yoga occasionally. I started and stopped many gym memberships over the years until I found this place. I am happy to report that after my first class here a year ago I have become dedicated to this studio working out 2 or 3 times a week. The workouts don't get any easier but because of all the support I receive here it doesn't matter. I can see the results ( I have actually definition in my arms now!) and am really truly happy.

As someone who used to only do barre, BYE has expanded my horizons and made me love yoga just as much, and The Experience is truly the best workout! This class was by far the best barre class I've ever taken! The instructor, Juliana, was so welcoming, motivating and knowledgeable on proper form and technique. The class was a perfect mix of barre work, mat work, and weighted exercises - the hour class flew by. I feel like this would be a perfect place for barre beginners since it's much less intimidating than the typical vibe at pure barre, but is also an incredible, advanced work out for people who have taken barre previously. I'm so sad I don't live closer to the barre effect. I'll definitely be coming back to this studio any time I'm in the area!
