Outstanding, very professional photographer. I recently had a session for album cover art and music promotion photos. He's easy to work with, very intelligent and has an amazing portfolio. He's not cheap, but charges professionally for professional work. I work by the hour or gig, too; I understand charging what one is worth. Two things to note: His studio work is in a shared space (which works fine) rather than a permanent studio (lots of it is on location, of course), and he doesn't accept checks (and upcharges for credit cards). Can't say I blame him. That's easily handled by electronic payment such as Venmo or direct bank transfer, no muss, no fuss. I'll update this when the album cover's finished. read more

I had stepped away from the professional speaking business for awhile, so I needed some new photos to reflect my current branding and look. I searched through almost 90 websites of Austin photographers and eliminated all but three. John was very communicative and easy to work with from the moment we contracted and in preparation for the event.
