Francis made him comfortable and we actually had fun taking our engagement photos. Throughout the wedding planning process, he was responsive, straightforward, professional, and easy to work with. He was up-front about costs and he didn't add on charges later (unlike many other wedding vendors). As for our wedding day, Francis stayed out of our way. He let my husband and I share private moments and he photographed them from afar, he didn't rush us, he didn't interrupt us throughout the reception, and he didn't make us take awkwardly posed photos (unless we requested them). Yet, he took so many incredible shots that truly captured the preparations, emotions, traditions, and excitement of our wedding day. He captured the essence of our interfaith wedding. We are beyond pleased with our wedding photos by Francis, and people constantly compliment his work. We love our wedding photos! He went above and beyond for us (he even had an ex-family member cropped out of a photo for us). It is apparent that Francis takes pride in his work, he truly enjoys interacting with people, and that he is a very talented, experienced photographer. We highly recommend Francis, and you'd be lucky to work with him!

Francis met us at a coffee shop to make sure we would all be a good match to work together, and we ended up hitting it off immediately. We booked him immediately and never looked back! Our engagement shoot was fun, and he helped put us at ease with being in front of a camera. Our wedding day was captured at a level I am still unable to articulate. He was somehow everywhere and nowhere at once. The moments he was able to capture without staging or prompting are everything I had dreamed my wedding photos would be. Everyone who saw them felt the emotions and joy of the day, and I am forever grateful I have them. Francis is professional, easy to communicate with, and freakishly talented. We hired Melanie for our April wedding. We made an absolutely great decision there…read more We first met Melanie to do our engagement photos at the Blanton, those obviously turned out stunning, as she was able to get both of us to open up a little bit and get some good shots of us. Highly recommend doing an engagement session first, the chance to work with her twice was so awesome! Emails with her were always responded to in a very timely manner, and she was very helpful with any questions I had, so great to work with. She and her assistant James showed up and were ready to go on time, kept our day running smoothly through all the photos we wanted taken and they got so many shots of things that I didn't even think of! Finishing off the night with a gorgeous nighttime shot! Their personalities shone throughout the day, everyone was talking about how amazing and fun our photographers were. This was the first time that Melanie had worked with James, but you could not tell in the least, the two worked so well together and then the way they worked with the guests...I can't compliment them enough! As for the final product, it was beyond compare. Somehow she made it seem like when I scroll through the pictures of the day that I am just walking through memories of that day. It's so amazing, I truly am unable to pick my favorite pictures from the day, because they're all beautiful. I'm so glad that we hired her for our day, she made it truly great the day of and then the gift that keeps on giving, the memories she gave me are a true treasure. Hire Melanie anytime you want something important photographed, or you know just because you need pictures and want someone amazing to do it!

Most of the photography booths were hard to tell apart, and it seemed like theirs was the only one with a definite /style/. I didn't interact with "he" much, but "she" was awesome. Melanie and a helper photographed our wedding. They were friendly, relaxed, and totally flexible - there was no rigid list of shots to get, and they did some fun stuff working with the location. If you hire them, your wedding photos will look like a dream sequence in a slick modern magazine. That's probably because she's also a magazine photographer... http://www.melaniegrizzel.com/Grizzel_Portfolio.html Of the things that my husband and I paid for, the photography was a big ticket item. Before we started shopping for anything, we made a priority list (food, clothes, photo, venue, etc) and decided that even if everything went wrong, if it rained, and the cake fell over, and my dress was torn, and our friends had a brawl by the keg, it would all be okay if we had amazing photos. Because memories are strong, but photos can repaint your memories in better light. Luckily the day was perfect, but the gorgeous pictures help me remember it even more fondly :)

The photographer, Jordan, has a remarkable talent for capturing dynamic shots. Her work truly brings out the personality in her subjects. She takes photos for various occasions including senior photos, family photos, creative photos that capture an artistic moment and so much more. When clients enter the studio, they are greeted with a plethora of her creative works. The works are in matte and glossy finishes to match 'the vibe' of the photo taken. During the photoshoot, Jordan's professionalism was obvious as she was able to capture key shots of Thing Two in just a few shots. Furthermore, the direction that Jordan gives her clients as it relates to lighting, posing are clear and concise making the session with her not only efficient but easy! As an independent business owner, Jordan works around a client's schedule so they don't feel obligated to squeeze in a session that may not work for them. Last, Jordan only focuses on one client at a time (no double booking). If looking for a local photographer (which I seem to have found quite a few) in Central Texas, definitely give Jordan a call. *Technical note, no photos can be taken during a session of the session. #supportlocal
