I was craving a bagel with veg cream cheese and the last time I had a good one was in Portland, OR…read more When I walked in, the restaurant was packed. There was no counter service only kiosks. The kiosks were easy to use and the vegan items was clearly marked. Of course, it still asked for a tip when I paid. I ordered The Alexa, everything bagel, cut in half, and vegan veggie cream cheese. $10.82. Delicious and filling. Soft thick bread. Chewy. Tasty beefsteak tomato with no old musty dark green avocadoes, but freshness. I can appreciate that they have vegan options. The best thing was the open parking. I avoided another restaurant because of the lack of where to park my car. The seating is quite limited and there's really no where to stand or sit for takeout orders.

Cute, casual vibe, and the staff is friendly and efficient when taking orders, calling out your name loudly once it's ready. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor tables come with umbrellas -- much needed! We waited in line for less than 10 minutes to place our order, then another 10 minutes for our 4 bagel order. Our iced coffee and drinks were handed over right away, so we grabbed a table inside to wait. I got an everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, toasted and scooped out with ketchup, and it was amazing! The bacon had a slight smoky taste and was medium cut, and the egg, cheese, and ketchup were all perfectly stacked inside. The bagel itself was soft, chewy, and nicely toasted -- delicious. Even though it was crowded, everyone was polite and patient, and no one seemed to mind the wait. I can attest: the food is worth it, and I will be back when I am in town again, just will probably order ahead!

I've been on a bagel kick lately and was on my way back from Round Rock and passed by to grab some…read more While it's better than your supermarket bagels by a mile, felt like they were very so-so compared to other bagel shops in Austin area. Price definitely feels on the high side for a bagel for sure. Got a variety - onion, plain, blueberry, chocolate chip, sesame, everything. And nothing really stood out - the caramelized onion one was probably the most unique bagel, but wet and slimy caramelized bagels on top vs incorporated into the dough is not a feeling one likes. It's got some good crust and decent chew, but again, nothing mind blowing among bagel shops and again, the price kinda hurts for what it is. If I lived up in the area, probably would scratch the carb itch, but probably not my go to.

The varieties available are terrific, as are the different options of cream cheese. When I saw all the menu options for bagel sandwiches, I was excited to come back and try them. The restaurant seemed to have such potential for me. However, the dough used had an unpleasant flavor to me, so I found the bagels inedible. The bagels looked like they were wheat-based. Perhaps this was an off-batch. The store was very clean and open. The service was top-notch. I found parking to be very easy. You'll notice other reviews rave about the flavor, so I hope I just got a bad batch; that said, I'm simply not willing to roll the dice and go back to see if that was the case.

The hubs and I decided to split the Big Elvis donut with house made peanut butter icing, fresh grilled bananas, grilled bacon and honey). What is not to like about this combination of ingredients? This savory donut's base was Gourdough's (play on words) signature sourdough donut and then layered with each of the ingredients. The layering of ingredients and flavors created a 5-alarm palate explosion. The donut was delicious...better and better with each bite. Wow, wow, wow! Crunch...flavor...smokiness...crunch...flavor...smokiness! We have not had a donut quite like this one. Maria, our donut chef, boldly told us that it was going to be best donut we had ever eaten. Such a bold claim...however, Maria came with "receipts". Total donut nirvana... Gourdough's is in a food truck park with ample seating outside and a few of cushioned love seats. Superb experience...

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!
