Despite my husband constantly reassuring me of my beauty, I've never believed it myself. This is why I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try to capture what I my eyes could not see. After a quick Google search for boudoir photographers, came across Jrenee Boudoir's website. From the moment I read Jess's about us page, I knew she was the one. I could tell she would be able to capture the essence of what I was looking for, while making me feel comfortable, and I was absolutely right! The entire planning process was super easy, from booking the appointment to the initial phone call with Jess. She guided me through every step, ensuring I felt prepared and at ease. On the day of the shoot, it felt as though I was having a photoshoot with a long-time friend. I was so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session. When I walked out of the studio, I felt so PROUD of myself. My goal was to achieve a casual sexy look, and that is exactly what I got. When I saw the pictures, I was in absolute awe. I was so BEAUTIFUL and SEXY, I could not believe it was ME!! I love, love, love my pictures, the album I received is perfect. When I am 80 years old, I will be looking back at the pictures to remind myself of how HOT I am/was! I genuinely could look at these pictures all day long! I am so glad I had this experience. Quite frankly, she has set the bar too high for any other photographer to come close to achieving. Nervous at first, the free spirited artist was able to put our minds at ease in record time (seriously, she had my wife relaxed in under two minutes and a half - yes, I am anal retentive enough to time that shit). The photographer is very personable, with a keen eye for 'just the right pose'. Reviewing the shots I was (and still am actually) amazed at how well she was able to capture the moment. Ladies - Julia is sweet, warm, and kind spirited. I do not believe for a minute she'd ever ask you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Her dedication to art ensures you will look your best when you review the photos. She WILL make you into the cover girl you've always dreamed of being. Guys - Shhh, let the ladies work, you'll be happy you did. They say a picture is worth a thousand words - until I met Julia and reviewed some of her work I would have agreed; but after seeing the awe-inspiring art she manages to conjure with a camera lens the only word that comes to mind is "WoW". Did my google searching for photographers in Houston and contacted about a dozen. Perhaps half responded they weren't available, and half didn't respond. However, one adorable young lady in Austin (3 hours away), Julia Vie of Vivian's Muse, said she was very excited about shooting me! We exchanged several emails about the process and logistics and had an extended phone chat. My trepedation morphed into excitement and anticipation. Let's do this!! The big day! Julia shot perhaps 400 photos in an hour or so, all the while offering instruction, incredible encouragement and showing me what she had captured in her viewfinder. All with a monster camera and first class professional lighting. We shot on the couch, on the stairway, in the window, on the bed. Woah, so exhilerating! Nervousness was gone and my inner goddess had taken over. I'm not one for exaggeration but this was truly one of the best hours of my life. Back the next morning to review and select proofs. Oh no, her computer jammed up, wasn't happening. No problem in the digital age. We had more girly chat, comparing notes on all of the fun we had had the preceding day. A few days later the proofs arrived via email. I was blown away. OH MY! That cannot possibly be me. But...it is! Being a goddess, even for a short while, really gets in your head. And stays there. Who would have thought the idea of having a little fun by trying something different would turn into a life changing event? Thank you so very, very much Julia! And, girls, if you have any lingering doubts about treating yourself to this experience, all I can say is do not delay, call Julia today! Hugs, Michelle
