Amy has a remarkable way of making our teenagers feel so comfortable in front of the camera. For those of you who know that can be an extremely daunting task. She makes them feel so confident in themselves. She make each pose so purposeful with every hand placement, chin placement, eye placement. She is stellar at creating comfortable groupings with balanced colors. I nicknamed Amy "Our Magician" because she is a magician of the light. She takes the most heartfelt vivid images and turns them into our most precious treasures. If it can be helped, I will never hire another photographer other than Amy. Amy has always been warm and professional with my daughter and patient with kids (one of the shoots was a kids shoot for a upcoming personal care line). Quite frankly, she has set the bar too high for any other photographer to come close to achieving. Nervous at first, the free spirited artist was able to put our minds at ease in record time (seriously, she had my wife relaxed in under two minutes and a half - yes, I am anal retentive enough to time that shit). The photographer is very personable, with a keen eye for 'just the right pose'. Reviewing the shots I was (and still am actually) amazed at how well she was able to capture the moment. Ladies - Julia is sweet, warm, and kind spirited. I do not believe for a minute she'd ever ask you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Her dedication to art ensures you will look your best when you review the photos. She WILL make you into the cover girl you've always dreamed of being. Guys - Shhh, let the ladies work, you'll be happy you did. Seriously, kind of like a wedding the moment is all about her; let her enjoy the spotlight and you'll see just how beautiful your woman really is. They say a picture is worth a thousand words - until I met Julia and reviewed some of her work I would have agreed; but after seeing the awe-inspiring art she manages to conjure with a camera lens the only word that comes to mind is "WoW". I am typically articulate to a fault; but her work leaves me speechless - every time.

Did my google searching for photographers in Houston and contacted about a dozen. Perhaps half responded they weren't available, and half didn't respond. However, one adorable young lady in Austin (3 hours away), Julia Vie of Vivian's Muse, said she was very excited about shooting me! We exchanged several emails about the process and logistics and had an extended phone chat. My trepedation morphed into excitement and anticipation. Let's do this!! The big day! Julia shot perhaps 400 photos in an hour or so, all the while offering instruction, incredible encouragement and showing me what she had captured in her viewfinder. All with a monster camera and first class professional lighting. We shot on the couch, on the stairway, in the window, on the bed. Woah, so exhilerating! Nervousness was gone and my inner goddess had taken over. I'm not one for exaggeration but this was truly one of the best hours of my life. Back the next morning to review and select proofs. Oh no, her computer jammed up, wasn't happening. No problem in the digital age. We had more girly chat, comparing notes on all of the fun we had had the preceding day. A few days later the proofs arrived via email. I was blown away. OH MY! That cannot possibly be me. But...it is! Being a goddess, even for a short while, really gets in your head. And stays there. Who would have thought the idea of having a little fun by trying something different would turn into a life changing event? Thank you so very, very much Julia! And, girls, if you have any lingering doubts about treating yourself to this experience, all I can say is do not delay, call Julia today! Hugs, Michelle

It…read morewas a really personal and vulnerable thing for me, so it's amazing how fun and relaxed it was to do the photoshoot with Aubrey. First of all, Aubrey is not awkward or a prude. She has an unfazed sort of vibe about her. She's also really funny which, as we all know, helps during any potentially awkward moment. She told me all the little details about how to pose so that my face and hands and everything didn't look stupid (you know how sometimes you see photos and the people are fumbling with what to do with their hands or feet or what direction to look? I need more direction than that and she is really good at that)! Aubrey figured out what angles and lighting looked best and she was so encouraging the whole time. I had a mix of photos of me looking at the camera, looking away, smiling, not smiling, etc., some looked candid, others didn't. Perfect mix. Also she would tell me how amazing the photos were looking while she was shooting and even showed me some on the little camera screen. I have never felt like such a rock star. Then, after editing, she sent me a giant load of absolutely incredible photos. I don't know if she just did everything right as far as angles and lighting, or if she did a lot of editing work in the "lab" but either way she made me look really good in my photos, better than I could have imagined going into it. I sincerely recommend Aubrey for boudoir or any type of photos!!!
