Dana is a phenomenal photographer! We used her for newborn photos and were thrilled with our pictures. She's calm and amazing with babies! Puts new parents at ease. She was so flexible and understanding when I go sick right before our pictures too on rescheduling. We recently used her for holiday pictures and she again did a great job and got a family photo of 2 adults, a baby, and a dog. Not an easy feat but she can work miracles with that camera. She is not only an exceptional photographer but extremely professional and genuinely cares and ensured we got exactly what we wanted. She's very easy to communicate and replied to emails immediately. She even helped me pick my dresses for the photoshoot. On the day our photoshoot was scheduled , the weather did no co-operate. She was more than ready to reschedule. My husband and I are not very good at posing. She guided us and made it seem so easy. I wasn't too happy with my make-up in the photos and Dana did everything possible to make sure she understood what I didn't like and fixed it in her editing. The final images are breathtaking! My long overdue review of Snowpixie! What a lovely experience. Dana offered a mini-session giveaway during Autism Awareness Month, which in itself shows her character. I entered on a whim, and was thrilled when I found out we actually won! Dana was easy to communicate with and scheduling was a piece of cake. I let her know in advance that my 4 year old Autistic son was a challenge during previous family photos, and asked if we could focus this mini-session on just Caleb so I could finally get some decent pictures of him. She was happy to oblige. The morning of the photo shoot, when we arrived at the location, Caleb was immediately distracted and not interested in doing what we had planned. As I tried to contain my frustration (just being honest here), Dana was calm and gracious, thinking of ways to get him interested in playing where she could get a good shot of him and his sister. Somehow we figured out that getting him to throw stones in the lake would bring the smiles and keep him from running in the opposite direction. The session was short and sweet, just as we planned. You never really know what you're going to end up with after a photo shoot. You hope that you get at least one good shot after all the effort. When Dana sent me our gallery to review, I was so pleasantly surprised! She managed to get beautiful photos not just of Caleb, which is what I ultimately wanted, but also of my two kids together. It's a nearly impossible feat to get good pics of BOTH my kids at the same time. I love these sweet images so much. They make me emotional, in a really good way. So so happy that we found Snow Pixie Photography to photograph our newborn daughter- honestly one of the easiest decisions we made prior to becoming new parents. Dana is so wonderful and easy to talk to. Her Instagram is full of wonderful shots of babies and families alike, so i knew that we would get some unforgettable pictures of our new daughter and I was right! We brought our 10 day old little one to her studio- it was incredibly clean and beautiful and made us feel so comfortable. Dana is great and we can't say enough amazing things about our experience with her. We had a photoshoot with our newborn and 2.5yr old and she is an absolute pro on working with young ones. Newborn photography is a real speciality and her expertise shines through. The attention to detail, knowing when and how to transition a newborn, are all unique skills when photographing newborns. This is a little late, but such is the life of a new parent! I reached out to Dana a couple of weeks ahead of my daughter's six month mark to discuss baby photos. As said in previous reviews, she is prompt in her responses and very easy to communicate with. She managed to capture so much of my daughter's spunky personality in the hour time frame, which included several wardrobe changes. I opted for a soft gray/mustard/pink palette and she went out of her way to purchase some headwear and clothing that fit my color scheme. She's professional, effective, and clearly knows what she's doing. Her pricing is also VERY fair, especially when you're seeing life through the budget of a new baby. Our pictures came out so, so gorgeous, I couldn't be more pleased with them. We've already started discussing one year pictures and my hope is to have Dana be our go-to family photographer. read more

Dana did an absolutely incredible job capturing photos of our baby boy and family!! We will forever cherish her work and are so happy. I was pretty specific about the types of photos I wanted, and she nailed it! She brought everything to the session in our home and the way that she was able to work with natural light was amazing. Dana was patient with our baby and family. It is our first baby and he was just under a month old during our session and Dana was super flexible throughout the session whether he needed to fed, changed, etc. But even more, her patience, calming presence and the way she tucked him into the different wraps and swaddles amazed me (bonus: I learned some swaddle tips from watching her :)). We booked newborn photos with Snow Pixie Photography and they are SO beautiful! The entire experience was relaxing and Dana was so wonderful with our 12 day old daughter. My husband and I were so impressed with how she kept our newborn so calm and happy throughout the entire multi hour shoot. The final photos are simply amazing, and we look forward to booking milestone sessions in the future.
