Dog friendly farm. Love that I got to bring my dog along for the fun! In addition to apples, they had dig your own potatoes and a variety of salad greens, pumpkins and gourds available to pick. Since we went toward the end of the season, we were able to cut sunflowers for free. Apple cider donuts, bakery, and lunch items available on weekends only. Jarred items available for purchase at the stand. I got some baby dill pickles, which are delicious! I recommend you check their website (https://hollinfarms.com/current-available/) here before you go. They update it weekly with their current crop availability, weather changes, etc.

There were variety of apples available the day we went. The options depend on timing and the growing season. We got to try Arkansas Black, which are delicious. In addition to apples, there were a variety of salad greens and pumpkins available to pick, you could even dig up potatoes. Because we went toward the end of the season, we were able to cut sunflowers for free with our apple purchase. Expect hills and uneven surfaces for walking, so wear appropriate footwear so you can enjoy the experience. Views are beautiful, the colors were popping across the horizon. After you fill up your picking bag, don't skip o out on the apple cider donuts. Made on site daily with cider from the orchard...while not warm, they were fresh and delicious. The food stand had a variety of other snacks and jarred foods available for purchase. * Our GPS got us close to the farm and handmade signs guide you the rest of the way. * Staff are nice and helpful, they provide you with everything you need (instructions, picking bags, shears). * There are porta potties available, they were as clean as you can expect porta potties to be. * No fee for admission or parking (yay!), just pay for what you pick and eat. *

Green Truck Farm did not disappoint! We were greeted by rows and rows of black raspberries, which I had never experienced before, but taste like a more flavor-packed version of raspberries. After we had our fill of black raspberries, we walked over to the blueberries and picked our hearts out. Advice: -Black raspberries tend to sell out first so start there if you're planning to pick at both places. -Subscribe to Green Truck Farm on Facebook for the latest updates about ripeness. -Visit their cousins down the road at Hartland Orchard for other fruit (cherries, peaches, apples).

We went the last week of May and there were still hundreds of strawberries to pick from! When you first enter the orchard/farm they give you a box that contains 6 of the strawberry holders. When we went in May 2021, they were around $4.99/lb. You have rows and rows of strawberries to pick from that are spread out nicely enough that it was easy to avoid people who didn't wear masks. The process was easy and the strawberries were delicious! My family and I demolished 6 boxes in less than a week.

Everyone was so personable from the minute we walked into this elegant manor house. Cocktails and conversation were on point. The dinner service just flowed effortlessly like a well thought out symphony -- each dish took us to a higher level of culinary bliss as we were lulled by the expertly paired wines. Owner/Chef Dane stopped by our table at the end of meal and was so delightful to talk with. We had a terrible storm during the dinner service, apparently a tree went across the road nearby and knocked out their internet service preventing them from being able to check us out at the end of the evening. Their response -- don't worry about it all -- we will just give you a ring sometime tomorrow and take care of it; what more could you ask for -- just classy in every way!!!
