If you ever have any questions or issues, the office staff is more than willing to assist and they're easy to work with. I had one issue with my water tank popping a hole at 5 am on a Sunday, called emergency maintenance and the employee was inside my apartment within 15 minutes to shut off the water and run to the store to replace the leaking piece. Hunter Star also brought in a contractor to clean out the water from the carpet for my apartment and the one below. The showroom apartments in the office are nearly identical to the actual buildings (a few minor, negligible differences). During winter, the staff work all hours to clear the lots of snow so residents can access vehicles in the morning. Apartments are located within walking distance of campus or near the university bus stops. Finally, the apartments are the best priced for the quality in the area. I spent months looking for a great deal and so far Hunter Star has proved to be worth it.

Just to make sure this is understood, I lived 2 years with Axiom echo park apartment, in those 2 years I had both heat went out in winter time and A/C went off in July, the lady in the office, Brittney as well, answered every time and actually seemed she cared, maintenance was there always within minutes to an hour and both times a part was broken, had to order it and then fix it, but, both times they took care of the issue by bringing heaters to my unit, 5 of them and I a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with Hunter is 3/3, and in the summer they showed up with air units and fans, not great, but at least I wasn't left to die like the Hunter lady has me here, not caring, if I was her boss, I would give her 1 chance to actually get her act together if that is not happening she should be fired.

From the day I started my application process, before I was even a tenant, I felt welcomed into the community. Maintenance was always on top of fixing issues, although I didn't have many in my time here. The unit was very affordable, large, clean, no issues with bugs. Even though I'm not a student, the free computer lab was so convenient! I wish I didnt have to leave, highly recommend this apartment complex!

Window I wanted closed; although nonsmoking property neighbors smoke outside and smoke was coming in. Management wanted multiple times to explain replacement, accessing issue prior to repair. I wanted window closed it was making apartment smell of smoke and closing it was all I asked about. Clearly broken it needs repair-that's their issue closing window now the problem. I feel living here will be peaceful and serene. I've rented at multiple complexes in 90's and early 2000's never ever did property manger fail to get apartment ready for move in by checking electrical and functional items. Seems here give it to you in need of repair and then argue about repairing is protocol for Hailey. Open windows with staff prior to signing and check all outlets. My neighbor said he also had 2 inoperable outlets since moving in. They need to set their standards higher. If they don't respect their property the property won't be respected and that's how bad living standards begin. Looking forward to better experiences moving forward. Over other large owners, this is quite less traffic . New management allegedly, seems at least one was trained on the old protocol , other than one loud unprofessional manger , staff in office are pleasant and informative.

You will learn a lot about what it is truly like to live there.  They trick you into believing the apartments, and property are wonderful. The pool they list is filthy and is never open. There are no balconies. Trash dumpsters are overloaded with trash, dog poop is not picked up, bags of garbage are left for days around the buildings and in parking lots. They are known for not returning security deposit's, charging tenants bogus fees. Their main goal is to separate you from your hard earned money, while doing the least to upkeep apartments. Don't believe the good reviews, they ask tenants to leave positive comments to look much better then what they truly are. What looks good on the outside usually is wrecked on the inside. The nice pictures of apartments on there site are fake. The property is cheaply maintained. They are experienced in finding ways to not give back security deposits.

Now with this tow company J&S if you don't go to the main building and buy a visitor pass which I think should be free as long as your a tenant then your visitor cars will be towed then you have to pay $260 to get your car out. And then when you go to the tow lot they rude almost didn't even give us our vehicles back. It was a NIGHTMARE. If you live on the property why isn't parking free. Why isn't it a door bell why isn't there a buzzer so if you have company you can let them in without leaving your apartment. Why is rent raised without better up keep of the apartments. This is only my second apartment but nobody can convince me it's supposed to be this way. Hopefully it gets better with time but I don't know I can only hope. It shouldn't be 2025 rent prices with 1990s apartments. That's not cool nor fair to the tenant.
