I came here because I was about to make a trip, & felt a vibration in my car. I had gotten all tire…read morepressure sensors replaced, & tires aligned 5 months earlier. I was told it might be the alignment, or the tire balancing; I had them do both. I was told my brakes were "worn" (whose aren't?!), but didn't have that done. I was also told the age of my tires might be leading to dry rot. (5 years) When I got out on the highway, the vibration was WORSE! I had to drive at a slower speed to a Subaru dealer in VA. They told me I had a bubble in one tire, & they were "feathering". I had them check the brakes, & they MEASURED the brakes pads at 3 mm, which indicated they needed replacing. Tires were on sale. So I replaced! My Master mechanic son-in-law, When he had taken a look at my tires & heard my story, said: "You need to find a new place to take your car." Wasted $175!

I usually do most of my own automotive work, so needless to say, I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to repair shops. After diagnosing the issue, Dave called me with a price. It was right around what I expected, so I told him to go ahead with the repair. That afternoon, I got the call that the Jeep was ready. Dave said, "Hey, I have some good news--it's cheaper than I quoted you." I was honestly surprised. They could have easily charged me the almost $200 more that I was originally quoted, and I probably would have never known the difference. But they didn't. They were honest and upfront about it. Needless to say, going forward, Lunar Low Automotive will be my first choice whenever I need automotive work done, and I will recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a trustworthy shop. It's a great feeling knowing that honest and trustworthy garages are still out there. Thank you, Lunar Low Automotive, and especially Dave! You've definitely earned my business and recommendation.

Then, coincidentally, as I was leaving town at 1230 on 5/26 on 74, my steering wheel started shuddering whenever I steered toward the right at high speed. Immediately turned back to Grease Monkey. Alan accompanied me on a test drive all the way from Monkey Junction back onto 74 to troubleshoot, ordered two control arms on the spot, shoehorned me into their schedule and had me back on the road by 4:30PM. Incredible! Nicest, most respectful guys and so relieved to have found a dependable, trustworthy shop. I had no idea they did all sort of mechnica work!
