I brought my vehicle to High Desert Hyundai (HDH) in April 2025 for an ongoing brake pulsation issue caused by rotor warpage. HDH performed a temporary rotor resurfacing instead of a full repair, and the issue returned in less than a year. In February 2026, I returned for another inspection required for Hyundai's warranty review. HDH charged me $150 for a brake inspection even though the dealership advertises brake inspections as free on its website and through USPS mailers. I later found one of those mailers addressed directly to me while preparing for a small claims filing to recover the improper charge based on guidance from the Arizona Attorney General's Office. When I requested a refund for being charged for a service HDH publicly advertises as free, I received contradictory explanations and unprofessional treatment from Nick White, a manager at HDH. The more I asked for clarity, the more defensive he became. Instead of addressing the facts, he accused me of harassment, called my request for documentation "brazen and mildly insulting," and told me to seek service elsewhere, despite HDH being the only Hyundai dealership in Mohave County. His tone changed immediately after I pointed out inconsistencies in their paperwork and advertising. Because of the refusal to refund the $150 charge and the way the situation was handled, I was left with no choice but to pursue the matter in small claims court to exercise my consumer rights. After I was barred from service, I received a handwritten note via USPS from Mr. White stating he was "serious" about purchasing my vehicle for an upcoming Memorial Day sales event. Given the circumstances, I viewed this as unsolicited and inappropriate. HDH initially recommended rotor repair under warranty, but the claim was later denied, and HDH still insisted on charging me for a brake inspection they advertise as free. This was not the only time I was charged for a service they promote at no cost, which speaks for itself. I should also note that HDH performed a routine oil change prematurely in December 2022, resulting in an out of pocket expense. Hyundai Corporate ultimately absorbed that cost along with the first improper $150 charge for the "free" brake inspection. To date, HDH has not been held accountable for these repeated issues, which is concerning. I am sharing this so future customers understand what I experienced and how HDH handles service and warranty interactions. If you rely on your vehicle's warranty and this dealership for service, document everything in writing, verify all charges, and request all records up front. I have uploaded the facts so consumers can review them for themselves. read more

High Desert Hyundai - Car Dealers Near Me - Kingman, Arizona

My Review of High Desert Hyundai I bought a used 2018 Dodge from High Desert Hyundai, and looking back, I should've trusted my gut. When I arrived, the car was already running with the A/C on recirc, so I didn't notice anything unusual at first. I know I paid too much -- that part is on me -- but the real problems showed up the next day. When I started the car cold, I immediately heard an exhaust leak and could smell fumes inside the cabin. The front struts were also bad, and the front end alignment was way off. I replaced the struts myself because I didn't expect them to cover that, but the alignment numbers were way out: left side 1.5 out, right side 1.7 out. A few weeks later, I went back and asked for the CarFax. They gave it to me, and that's when I found out they had already done the front-end alignment and the exhaust manifold work before selling it to me. The problem is, the manifold was installed wrong. When I talked to Joe and Ron about it, they said they'd call me back to let me know if they would fix it. They never called. I ended up taking it to a different shop, and they showed me exactly how badly the manifold job had been done. That repair should've been covered by the dealership since it was their own work -- but they wouldn't stand behind it. The struts were on me, but the rest? They should've taken responsibility. So my advice: before you buy a car from them, consider driving to Phoenix or Las Vegas instead. In my experience, High Desert Hyundai won't stand behind their own work, and that's not how a dealership should operate. -- Bill read more

There is only one negative I can say about this review for High Desert Hyundai and that is they only allow for 5 stars. High Desert Hyundai deserves every star. One of the biggest things you can do when doing your homework when buying a car is to research the dealerships. If you are in the market for a Hyundai, I can save you a big step and direct you to High Desert Hyundai. We drove just around 2 hours from Las Vegas to Kingman as the Hyundai dealers in Vegas are all owned by the same company and do not have a sterling reputation in our city. We felt like family from the moment we walked through the door and met Ronnie. He is fantastic, very knowledgeable about cars and all you can ask for in a salesperson. You will hear a lot of "how can I earn your business?" in the car industry. The best way to do this is to make your customers feel valued. You feel like yourself here not like another walking dollar sign that is about to get hosed by another "stealership." Everything here was transparent. What we asked for in our new Tucson; we received. We later met with Mike one of the Managers and he was excellent. We were never pressured to buy anything and none of that pay extra for Nitrogen tire nonsense that you will see from big city dealers. The family at High Desert Hyundai has a true passion for cars and it shows. This is not a place where you are going to a foofy 10-dollar cappuccino when you walk in, but what you will get is a throwback experience to when a customer was treated like the most important person in the showroom. Move up from the bottom feeders and head to High Desert Hyundai in Kingman. It is worth the drive from anywhere. This will not be the last car we buy from High Desert Hyundai. read more

Your guys is used car Cerbat Canyon Auto Sales Is the absolute worst I've ever been to. I was cussed out and my wife was cussed out by Tom and Tommy. We were told we were not going to get a refund for our down payment. I highly recommend nobody going to these guys because they are absolutely horrible towards people. I'm not going to say anything bad that'll get me in trouble because I'm smarter with that legally. All I can say is I highly recommend not going here because you end up buying a piece of crap vehicle that will stop working on you within a week. I had to put almost 5 Grand into the a vehicle we bought. I highly recommend not going to them. If you do, it's at your own risk and you're very volatile to losing a lot of money due to their inconveniences. read more

Got a brand new Tucson in Jan. Excellent car. Jason Noonan was my sales rep. I wanted a Hyundai HYB during the CV-19 era and when gasoline prices spiked due to decisions in the White House. There was a car shortage. Remember "supply chain" issues. Well Jason tired his best to get a HYB for me. No success, however. I was driving a car that I really disliked. Would rather purchase a car in Kingman, where I live, that traveling to Bullhead City or Lake Havasu City. Jason listed to what was frustrating me with the current car and then took me on the lot. The Tucson was far superior to the one I had. She also gave me a very good price. I paid cash overall extremely satisfied with the car. Also I did not pay any tariff on that car. Don't listen to the talking heads on TV. They fib alot of the time. read more

While the buying process was fairly quick because I prequalified online I am unhappy with the omission of information about the hybrid car I bought. I feel is was absolutely necessary to inform me that hybrids need to be driven almost every day in order for the batteries to stay charged. I am retired and don't drive every day so my car was dead when I wanted to drive it. I called the service department who told me how to start it but this is definitely information that anyone buying or leasing a hybrid needs to be told. Had I known about this I would not have bought the hybrid car. read more

Got lied to again in service dept. They "forgot" to add the charge for battery along with "special order" cable. Ended up paying nearly $525. for a 8 inch battery cable. Prepaid because THEY TOLD US that was the total for battery AND cable. Took car in and get phone call: battery NOT included. Spoke to Nick White who 'looked into it'. Service dept staff at fault, wrote it up wrong. Is that my fault? Guess so. Took my car and 'special cable' home, my son went to Walmart and bought a battery and installed it. They lied about a year ago when I needed a stolen mirror replaced. "Special order" mirror sat there until I went there for refund, they never called to tell me it arrived. My son went to junkyard and got one for $10. The blatant dishonesty is appalling. Never had these problems before because my ex husband always took it in when needed and he usually fixed everything himself anyway. Now they get to take advantage of a woman, a senior disabled woman. I start physical therapy this week so, unfortunately, need this vehicle. When I lived in Tucson, Jim Click owned several dealerships. He personally gave me a loaner vehicle for 3 days while his service dept corrected bad paint job. Those were the days, a business owner taking responsibility for the actions of personnel representing his business. Not in Kingman. Hope Kingman Hyundai has a Merry Christmas with all the money they stole from me. read more

+ CAVEAT EMPTOR- Buyer beware NEVER AGAIN. WE RECENTLY RECEIVED THE WORST SALES SERVICE AND INHUMANE CUSTOMER TREATMENT FROM A BUSINESS THAT IS IMAGINABLE. Why are they even open. What High Desert Hyundai, and its name is applied here loosely, is amply equipped with is a thoroughly unprofessional staff constitutionally incapable of serving anyone except their own selves to a customer's valuable time and money. As it is. This dealership's ambience appears directly situated in the armpit of the universe. Once lured there, a supernatural effort is made to separate well-meaning patrons from their hard-earned resources. By the way, good luck with that... An alternative suggestion? Uh, let's skip that part. For now, we believe it one's civic duty to post for anybody wanting to purchase a vehicle, much less have it serviced: VISIT ANY DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET ANYWHERE EXCEPT HIGH DESERT HYUNDAI read more

Worked with Joe in the service dept and he did an amazing job on making sure the right part was fixed and covered under my warranty.
