I scheduled an appointment to have new firebrick put in my stove to replace broken ones and sweep my chimney. I also had them clean my dryer vent that goes up and out the side of my house higher up than the door. After seeing how much lint they removed I'm glad to see how a properly cleaned vent should look and operate. They called me and came before my scheduled appointment time which is always appreciated. They did everything I requested, have great prices for their services, and left no mess inside or out. It was also nice to talk to a person when I called and not having to leave a voicemail. These guys over charge and exagerate problems to scare people into more money. They told me my stack was loose and he would have to take it all apart to fix a leak I had. Today I had a roofer look at the leak it was a small hole around the collar. He put some new mastic around the collar and charged me 100.00. High desert chimney wanted to chage me 750.00. And they lied about my stack being loose the roofer shook it and it didn't even move. read more
