When I got to the shop the owner wasn't there however his dad was, and he was also very friendly and helpful. It seems the owner was called on a job so he had to run out but would be back soon. Lost both sets of my keys, had another locksmith make me a new set in March. Right away I felt that the buttons were jamming but figured they might loosen in time. A few months later realized they wouldn't open my glove compartment box either. (My logic was that I drive a Honda CRV and every locksmith should know how to make a replacement set of Honda keys) A week ago the buttons stopped working altogether, tried the battery change and everything. Took them to Hieu, and honestly didn't provide a lot of context upfront. Had a new set for me within 15 minutes. Initially he couldn't figure out the glove box issue, but after chatting for an additional 30 seconds he realized the issue and took another 5 min to tweak the new sets of keys to be fully functioning for my glovebox as well. I paid the last guy around $200-$230. The buttons on the keys he gave me were so jammed I had to use two hands to press them. Hieu charged me only $130 and took 20 min. He would have done it for as little as $110 but I wanted the dealership grade key--plus it was already such a good deal compared to what I paid before. Came here for them to cut a key. Just a simple basic cut! I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander. I bought a blank key off eBay for $9.15 and had Hieu cut it. Then I programmed it myself to my car (YouTube). He charges $5 for cutting. And $30 to program the key but you can program it urself (as stated above). Just have him but your car key for $5 which is a great deal. And if it doesn't fit, just have him try and he will help ! Overall great deal and very responsive !! read more
