I called them mid day on a weekday just to inquire about hours and pricing. They answer the phone right away and was very forthcoming on pricing and what to expect. When I got to the shop the owner wasn't there however his dad was, and he was also very friendly and helpful. It seems the owner was called on a job so he had to run out but would be back soon. Luckily, what I needed was a key cut, I brought in my own blank key. And his dad was able to help me right away. He cut the key right in front me and I was done in 5 minutes. Perfect job! Works great! When I called I also had him quote me on car keys that needed to be programmed. I've been meaning to have one my keys with remote duplicated and after the fast and friendly customer service for this small job I'll definitely be back! read more

My job was a simple mailbox key replacement. To be frankly honest, it's a simple job but other locksmith tried to up charge me by telling me add on costs such as service fee, equipment fee and installation fee. Chris or Hieu Locksmith on the other hand just charged a flat fee and was a lot cheaper than the others. He was on time, called ahead to confirm the appointment and the job was efficiently finished. Came here for them to cut a key. Just a simple basic cut! I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander. I bought a blank key off eBay for $9.15 and had Hieu cut it. Then I programmed it myself to my car (YouTube). He charges $5 for cutting. And $30 to program the key but you can program it urself (as stated above). Just have him but your car key for $5 which is a great deal. And if it doesn't fit, just have him try and he will help ! Overall great deal and very responsive !! read more

Nothing but positive things to say about Hieu locksmith! I was having trouble with my S2000 ignition, the key was completely stuck inside and I couldn't start the car! Hieu did an amazing job and was fast with fixing what another "locksmith" attempted to do and with a great price! Fixed the ignition, replaced my old key with a new one and cut me a spare key to have! Will definitely be coming back for anything key related in the future! read more

Lost both sets of my keys, had another locksmith make me a new set in March. Right away I felt that the buttons were jamming but figured they might loosen in time. A few months later realized they wouldn't open my glove compartment box either. (My logic was that I drive a Honda CRV and every locksmith should know how to make a replacement set of Honda keys) A week ago the buttons stopped working altogether, tried the battery change and everything. Took them to Hieu, and honestly didn't provide a lot of context upfront. Had a new set for me within 15 minutes. Initially he couldn't figure out the glove box issue, but after chatting for an additional 30 seconds he realized the issue and took another 5 min to tweak the new sets of keys to be fully functioning for my glovebox as well. I paid the last guy around $200-$230. The buttons on the keys he gave me were so jammed I had to use two hands to press them. Hieu charged me only $130 and took 20 min. He would have done it for as little as $110 but I wanted the dealership grade key--plus it was already such a good deal compared to what I paid before. I could feel the difference in quality of keys right away. Very observational and honest guy. read more

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm an early bird. I woke up early this morning around 5:30am. I guess I have a lot on my mind these days (or I need more sleep) because I ended up locking myself out. One of my good friends is a locksmith - so I called him, but he didn't answer. It must have been too early! Lol. So - naturally, I opened up my Yelp app to find a locksmith. I called about 10 locksmiths with "24/7," or "emergency services" listed and the only locksmith that answered was Hieu. He let me know that he would arrive in 40 minutes (including the drive time). That was accurate. Communication was on point. He arrived promptly and unlocked my door within a minute. Just like that, my day went from annoyed to fantastic. I needed to return a leased car by the end of this week, but I lost the spare key...The dealer quoted me $350 to replace! But instead I hit up Hieu Locksmith instead. The owner gave me a deeply discounted rate! I set up an appointment yesterday & he was able to set me up with an appointment today. I accidentally missed my appointment time & he was able to fit me into a later time slot (*greatly thankful*). Lastly, I went in expecting the whole procedure to take 30-40 minutes. It got done in 15 minutes! The key came out looking like an OEM one straight from the dealer themselves at a fraction of the cost! THE MOST COMPETITIVE PRICES! I sent a quote request through Yelp and received multiple quotes to rekey 3 locks. All the companies that Yelp sent the requests to responded quickly. Christopher from Hieu Locksmith responded with the lowest price, so I scheduled a date/time to do the work. It turned out that I needed 4 locks rekeyed and that was just another $15. I messaged about seven locksmiths about my Electric bike. The wife misplaced the key (don't tell her) and they all wrote that they "don't offer the service" Which is strange because it's a pretty standard lock nothing too complicated. I guess not too many people think outside of the box anymore. Anyhow, Christopher was awesome he agreed for me to bring it in and he spent about a half an hour working on it and made me a custom key.
