This is usually my favorite place to eat... but the other day a guy named Garrett was helping my family and I and just gave the worst service I've ever experienced at Hideaway. Every time I'd ask for something he would give nothing but attitude and roll his eyes at me. I asked for straws and he basically threw them at me (chucked them if you will). If you have been to a hideaway pizza this is just like the others. Diverse menu to choose from more toppings than you can imagine to put on a pizza. Service is always good when we have gone. They have a pretty large and diverse beer menu also. You should have plenty of options to pair with your meal. The restaurant has always been clean when we have gone. The restrooms also stay clean. They can get very busy so be prepared to wait if you are going during peak hours. Really don't have anything negative to say about this place. Try it out if you haven't. read more

When Hideaway is good, it can be great. This hasn't been my experience at the Yukon location Hideaway. Our cheese sticks arrived under cooked, service was painfully slow on an empty Saturday night. When we sat down, things went well. We ordered (fried pickles, 3 pizzas and a salad). The pickles came out well. Then nothing. The waitress came once to fill our water about 30 minutes into our wait. After almost the entire place was empty, we were still waiting. An hour after we ordered, I finally got up and asked what seemed to be a manager to check on our food. He seemed put out that I spoke to him but checked. Shortly, our food arrived. I had the salad with chicken. When the waitress said "do you need anything else?" I answered, "I need a fork, please." She said ok and walked away. Thankfully the forks were close by, so my husband didn't have to walk far to get me one when we realized she had completely ignored me. The chicken was like eating the Turkey from National Lampoons. I don't think I have even eaten dryer chicken. After we were done, the waitress dropped the check and disappeared again. So I had to ask another staff to split the check. She was more upset than the manager that I had dared to speak. After being there for more than 2 hours, I had to go home and fix myself some edible lunch. Now I get their pizzas are good. My family enjoyed theirs. But the attitude of the staff and the ridiculous amount of time it took to get the food made the pizza not worth it. read more

Usually the best pizza around. I enjoy the many choices of pizza types. Usually eat a different one with each visit. Staff is usually very friendly. During our visit the restaurant seemed a bit slow for it being dinner time. Service was a bit lacking during our visit. Seemed the waiter was nervous about approaching our table. I figured he was new. Food came out quickly. Nice and hot. So many toppings they were falling off the pizza. Lots of gooey cheese. Restaurant looked nice and clean. Although there only seemed to be one guy doing the final cleaning on eat table. So the dirty tables were sitting a bit. I wondered why when the wait staff didn't help when they were just standing around chatting. One waitress was running all over the place being ontop of her tables. Hope she was getting good tips because she was great. Even helped our table once. Overall good experience when it comes to this restaurant. Yes, like the other reviews I do see a different in service from the locations. But it's a good place. We'll go back. read more

All of their food is almost always great, including their pizza that goes back to my days in Stillwater 40 years ago. They have an Italian sub that is also fantastic, and my wife loves their lasagna. read more

Wife and I went today at 4:10. Asked for a table because of back surgery. Was told they had a booth. Explained again that we needed a table. Receptionists looked at us like we were stupid and said they had a booth. There were no more than 6 customers in the place. We left and not sure we will be back. I went to the Yukon location Monday afternoon with my family. The pizza is always good and we always have a good experience. I know that mistakes happen , but I ordered a supreme with no mushrooms on it. My daughter is allergic to mushrooms. when I told our waiter about it, they were so understanding and went and got the manager. I wasn't asking for a free pizza , mushrooms don't bother me , I was just going to take that pizza home. I don't know if that manager was having a bad day but he acted like he didn't want to fix it. I believe his name was Matt and he scoffed and rolled his eyes. If this is the way your manager acts then I will take my family to Mid Town to that Hideaway. I felt like we were a bother and customers shouldn't feel that way. This is not the way you handle situations like that. read more

We had mixed reviews because the Yukon location, which was close to where we were staying, had such mixed reviews. But we really really wanted pizza so we decided to risk it. Our waitress was super nice. Restaurant was clean. Food was pretty good. Really enjoyed the "famous" mushrooms. What impressed me the most is that I ordered a glass of wine and they pump their air out of their bottles which is something i wish more restaurants would do. So If it had not been for that I would have given this place 3 stars but since they did that they give a much higher rating!! read more

Okay, let's say 4.95 out of 5. Our first visit and was impressed with cleanliness and how bright and friendly the staff were. 12/26 and the place was busy. Our party was seated and waitress was on the spot. Took our orders for drinks and returned quickly, also she was training a new person and never missed a beat, friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile for us. Although minor to some, there was a sandwich dropped on the floor by the entrance to the kitchen, several staff looked at it and passed over it to continue with the service. I thought one of them should have stopped and cleaned up the mess to PREVENT a co worker from working IF they hadn't seen the sandwich in the middle of the doorway. Other wise I would have given a five star. NOT A DEAL BREAKER, just some extra training to make an on the spot correction. I am a former burger manager and RETIRED Army Senior NCO. Hideaway is usually my favorite pizza place. The one on the Expressway is great every time. This one in Yukon is hit or miss. So far this evening I've had to wait on a beer, when everyone around is getting theirs. Now we've been here over thirty minutes and still waiting on food. The sports bar ambience makes eating fun and casual. It is good for families, and there is much more to order for a change of pace. After several in restaurant and take out experiences I can't understand the low rating. The service isn't incredible, but it's a family restaurant with high school kids for servers. The pizza is always perfect. The prices aren't necessarily cheap but it's quality pizza, not fast food. read more

Always enjoyed eating at Hideaway, at this and several other locations, but I have to highlight my experience on Friday 3/22/19. We ordered a half and half pizza and my wife requested no olives or jalapeños for her half. When the waitress came out with the kid's orders the manager also came and told us that they had accidentally not removed those toppings but that the proper pizza was already in the oven and would be out shortly. She asked if we wanted to start with the wrong pizza until the correct one came out or if we wanted to take it home. We elected to wait but take it home since I like those toppings. Other pizza arrived shortly and was great. We were already satisfied with the resolution to the problem, because hey mistakes happen and we were already getting a free pizza out of it. But then we got the bill and saw that they removed the charge for pizza as well. As someone who works in a customer service industry I appreciated the above and beyond approach they took to satisfy us. This is how customers are gained and retained, and due to this experience I plan to include this Hideaway location in many more family dinner plans. read more

What can I say, I am a huge fan of hideaway pizza! We ate here for the first time since they opened up this location a few weeks ago. It it just as good as the other three locations that I have been to previously. My Greek salad was spot on as was the Capone pizza I ordered to go with it. First of all I have been eating Hideaway since the 70s and it's my favorite pizza ever! I'm thrilled to have Hideaway here but they need to learn timing better. We have gotten pizza to go the last two times and both times the wait has been double the time they have told us. It's fine to be busy and have a long wait--sometimes it can't be helped however--telling us a time and then it being double that is unacceptable. Come On Hideaway--you can do better than this! This store does not do the other locations justice. I have had horrible overpriced pizzas on my last 2 out of 5 orders. I will not eat at this location again.On a not busy Sunday night it took 4 minutes for someone to pick up the phone for my order, when I arrive it took 5 minutes till I was helped and that entire time the phone was ringing and nobody was picking it up. Got home with pizza that cost me $20 that should have cost half that price. BTW that is the cost of a medium! This is my last time ordering from this location I really hope the owners investigate this, so for now it's back to the inexpensive and consistent papa murphys take and bake read more

First, I will start by saying you can tell this location is new. Most of the staff is friendly, but some are just standing around looking bored or standing in the way of customers and not paying any attention. The food was very good, but seemed to take a little longer then it should have, but no big deal. Went to a 7pm movie with the family last night. We were all together for the holidays. After the movie, we thought it would be great to have more family time at the new Hideaway, since it is so close to theater. Drive over and park, help our disabled mother out of car, just to find out they closed at 9:30 pm. Who runs this place? Seventy plus year old people? Do they need to get home to watch Wheel of Fortune? It just seems they are missing out on tons of business from the movie goers next door by closing this early. Begging those said movie goers to go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead. Pull your heads out Hideaway. read more
