The upstairs patio is huge, we're very excited to check that out in the fall. We went upstairs to sit at the patio bar not having been there before, but the upstairs bar is in a small room not outside. Very cute & quaint though. We ended up sitting at the downstairs bar. We ordered the fried cheese ravioli as our appetizer and shared a custom pizza as our meal. The pizza was Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, feta, bacon, chicken & red onion. Both were amazing, we would definitely order again. They have half price happy hour bar drinks, we had the patron margarita. It was made very well. So this is like my fourth or fifth time eating here so I feel comfortable leaving a review now. One of the best restaurants in this area period, not just pizza. Every pizza I have received here has been high quality. The crust, cheese, toppings you can literally taste the higher quality as opposed to other pizzerias in the area. My wife and I have a thing where we do pizza every Friday. Since the first time we came here it's been spot on every time. But the thing that really blows me away is the service. I haven't dined in yet but as far as their curb side service it's great. Their staff is always busy but they are always cordial and polite and wanting to serve you. One night there was a little wait, which was completely understandable because it was packed, but a manager came out and offered me a drink and let me know my food should be out soon. So when I received my pizza I noticed it wasn't extra cheese like I ordered, it was very loud because it was so busy when I ordered the young lady didn't hear me. It was no problem pizza still looked great, the manager asked if I could wait he would cook me another like I wanted it, and he told me to keep the other pizza as well. I was trying to give it back but he wouldn't let me. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but I was just floored. This truly is an amazing place. I hope they keep it up and don't change anything they are doing. It's an amazing pizza place, and I'm lucky it's so close to my home. It's GOOD! We love it! We used to go to the Hideaway Pizza in McKinney all the time, so we're beyond excited they opened one out this way. The menu is loaded with pizza options and toppings--we did a make-your-own and one from the menu, and both were delicious. We also ordered a salad that came out a little late (it showed up with the pizza), but honestly, no big deal. It was opening weekend, the place was packed, and the servers were clearly hustling. We get it! Service was a little stretched, but that's to be expected when everyone's still finding their rhythm. First visit, Friday around noon. Place was fairly full, but lots of seating and staff, so no wait and were seated immediately. Server took our drink order, explained menu options and directed us toward lunch specials. Nice touch! We order 2 small pizzas which are 6 slices each, $14 each but have a $3 discount during lunch. I had the "Boz" (assume for Brian Bosworth since he was from Oklahoma...) and my wife had the pepperoni pizza with 2-3 different kinds of pepperoni (can't recall the name of it). The Boz has a couple meats, red peppers, and jalapenos. Both were on thin crusts...but that isn't the super thin crust that other pizza places offer, think somewhere in-between thin crust and standard crust. Crust was crispy and good, almost had a pretzel vibe to it. Both pizzas were loaded with toppings and were not greasy. Very nice! Service was excellent throughout our visit. Food was delivered surprisingly quick. Overall a great first visit. We'll be back to try a sandwich and pasta next time. read more

We tried Hideaway Pizza today for lunch today. As a group of 3, we ordered the ATW, pizza, the Peporronipoloza & the Sicilian small pizza's. We also had salads & the garlic cheesy bread. Two of us preferred the hand tossed crust style pizza. All 3 pizzas were very good. They have a very good "happy dinner" special on drinks at the bar. Food is so mediocre but a nice building. The pizza was ok when it was fresh. All the fried food has terrible breading. Worst fried pickles I've ever had. It's as if the batter doesn't have enough liquid in it, too dry. My child wouldn't eat the fried chicken, it was tough when I tried it. All the leftovers didn't reheat or taste well at all. This is our second time doing a curbside order here. The first time everything was perfect. This time we didn't get any sauce, the wings were small and some missing meat, the wings had hardly any sauce on them, the pizza was good, but asked and paid for extra cheese and there wasn't extra. The food was not hot when we got it and when we got home it was hardly warm. I understand they were busy, but with all of this I am disappointed. Everything was amazing, even with opting for curbside pickup! Very friendly customer service. We ordered fried ravioli, side Caesar, and a small thin crust pizza for 2 that exceeded the expectations. Once we got seated, the experience improved significantly. We liked the interior design and there is a 2nd floor with additional seating. Service was appropriate and not over attentive. I checked out the newly opened Hideaway Pizza the other day. Incredible, casual atmosphere. Cool, covered outdoor patio on the 2nd floor. Fantastic menu w lots of options. Unbelievable drink menu at the bar. A bartended named Leo made our entire night with his incredible personality and service. 39 screens for football games and live sports. I have been twice during the soft open and this place is great. If you go from 4-7 it's half price drinks, all drinks, so i pitcher of beer is like $8 and a patron Margarita is $6. I have tried the xtreme pizza, the AtW and margarita. All were great but i would definitely go with the thin crust. Whole the drink prices are amazing and the food is great the staff is the stand out part. They are over staffed now but both time the waiter/waitress hilarious. It was horrible. We were there on Wednesday night, November 19 and sat upstairs. We were served by a young lady who definitely didn't give a crap about our experience. My kids were starved. My daughter was acting up. And getting our food took FOREVER but because it came out cold, I'm guessing that was also something our server could have done better. The sauce= jarred. I have ordered from there twice. The first time my wedge salad had no bacon and was just a pile of lettuce. And both times I have ordered from there they were VERY stingy with cheese on the pizza. The second time I complained and the manager in charge made me another one, and said there would be extra cheese, and when i went to pick it up, there was still VERY little cheese, and they claimed it was extra cheese with little to no visible cheese on the pizza. So they are the poster child for the inflationary trend of smaller portions and higher prices. I am sick of pizza places in this area being very stingy with cheese and toppings. I dont care about the company's food cost or if managers get bonuses based on food cost. I have been a manager in the pizza business for years and the amount of cheese they put on both the times I ordered from there is insulting. i dont know how they could get me back as a customer. read more

Everything!! We called the night before to make reservations. Was told they can put us on the list, that way when we got there we wouldn't have to wait too long. We asked them to put us on the list at 1:00 and for downstairs because part of our party of 12 are elderly and do not manage stairs well. We arrived at 12:40. When we were finally seated it was 1:45. The host had already seated two big parties that arrived after 1:00 pm. One party of eight and another of 10. After setting at the table from 1:45-2:20 pm we FINALLY had someone pass by the table, the assistant manager, to ask for drinks. The appetizers came out fairly quick but we sat for almost an hour without any server, mgr, bus boy coming by to check on our drinks, or anything! I guess everyone needed a smoke break at the same time for an hour? Finally an hour later and the sever brings out the half right, half wrong order. One of party never got his food. Can you guess why? The kitchen never made the order. The mgr finally stopped by with the food and I asked her to sit and told her about our dining experience. Thankfully the mgr was understanding and handled the situation satisfactorily but we will never be back. A four hour lunch experience at a place that is basically a gastro pub is ridiculous. read more

Adequately named since it's a little hidden and doesn't really stick out since it's in the back and off the freeway. They just opened so customer service is good since employees haven't gotten to comfortable. It's part of a mom and pop franchise that started in Oklahoma. The ambiance is a little eclectic and they know it doesn't make a lot of sense so they explain it on a little menu. The bar looked good but I was on my best behavior. The pizza... the one thing everyone and their momma think they know best. Im not any better, I do think I grade fairly. The thin crust isn't too thin, it's a solid thickness and filling. The marinera makes the pizza. Which says a lot. We got a build your own (cheaper and better than dominos) and the Sicilian. Simple recipes for the most part, there are always some where they throw too much on it like they're satisfying the potheads. Ours was right on the line. It was good dough and sauce and the topping simply only was a topping and not carrying the flavor of the dish. Which is ideal. Will be back. Oh and treat yourself to the garlic knots, they're dumb good. I'll definitely be ordering that next time I wanna lie to myself about a diet and making salads. read more

We eat here often because my 7 year old loves it! (Me and my husband do too) but tonight was such a memorable night. We had Xeveion as our waiter. And he was FANTASTIC. He was attentive and had a smile and just made our visit so much better. They give pizza dough to kids if it's asked for and we didn't even have to ask for it. He brought it to my son. I like a lot of ice in my drink and he brought me an extra cup of ice when didn't even ask for it. It seems like a small gesture but meant so much to me. Food was great as always. Working 7-8 hour shifts with no breaks and even though texas law states that the employer needs to be fair when it comes to to teenagers school schedules, they have them working past midnight on school days with no consideration. Super excited about a new pizza place. The fried ravioli appetizer was so yummy! We had the xtreme pizza - that was the best supreme pizza I've had in over 10 years! It is a little salty, but not so salty that I won't order it again! As I said, it was the best I've had in years. The staff was very accommodating.
