We called in the afternoon and they let us pick up from the Warehouse within 2 hours that same day. It was a whole team effort from Rianna to Dimple, the customer service across the board was excellent. The product was also excellent and exactly what we wanted. The custom service that we experienced is above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend for any of your furniture needs in Toronto. For $70, the quality and firmness is very good. The mattress is even flip-able, a feature that is not common nowadays, and can extend the useful life of the mattress. The second reason for the 5 stars rating is the selection. There are 3 models of twin mattress in the showroom. All of them are within my budget of $200. The nicest one costs $200, and it looks like something that would cost more somewhere else. I went to another mattress stores before I came to Springmade. There was only one mattress on sale under $200. One note to people interested in buying a mattress at Springmade: all the prices are HST inclusive, and you can pay by major credit cards. Joe is the owner. If you want to, you can negotiate the price with him directly. I didn't bother to negotiate cause $70 was cheap enough. Thank you, Yelp, for leading me to Springmade.

The reason I gave this review 3 stars is because of the assembly of the bed. They had two men deliver the bed and assemble it together. It was not done right, drilled extra unnecessary holes in our wall to hold the headboard. Although these extra holes weren't visible after the headboard gets mounted but this shouldn't have happened if they were professionals. The headboard should have been mounted flushed to the wall form top to bottom but the way they did it was only flushed at the top and the bottom part of the headboard slanted and touches the wall. However the mistake was forgivable as these two men worked really hard to put it together. They initially came in our house and said it would be a very easy job that would take maybe 1.5 hour but ended up taking them over 3 hours. The other reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because we had requested chrome legs for the bed but instead the wrong type of legs came with it. Though it's a minor issue but it did cause inconvenience as one of us had to take work off to physically be home when they had to come back to the house to reinstall.

BoConcept might not be on the strip of expensive furniture and decor stores on King Street East,…read morebut their prices are comparable. For $150 their store-hired interior decorators will come to your place to take measurements, and then give you their ideas and suggestions on how to furnish your digs (with BoConcept products of course). The $150 also goes towards your purchase. I found their selection of fabrics and colours to be limiting. Their prices are pretty ritzy so those who are price-conscious should head to Ikea instead. With that said, they do have a some pretty cool furniture, like sectionals that lock together magnetically to prevent the slip and slide effect (which is most likely to occur when you're at your drunkest). Their interior decorators are relatively young, and in my opinion relatively inexperienced. Of course, you have to take that with a grain of salt as their ideas are only as good as the line of products carried by the store.

Otherwise, employees were sitting, eating, talking (in the middle of the showroom without masks), and talking on the phone without masks. It was very unprofessional and I felt unsafe in that space. We left before checking out all the furniture because of the lack of proper Covid safety protocols and the inattentive customer service. We probably won't be back!
