So much for the black and yellow band. During the night the nurse knocked on my door to come in. I was sleeping so she woke me up, gave me a pill and left. Over an hour later came the knock on the door for another pill. In the meantime I used the bathroom several times. I saw the pull cord on the wall by the camode, but I used ths sink. If I would have fallen there was no way I would be able to reach that cord. I had a problem sleeping ,so I got up to walk around. If I would have fallen I could not reach the button on the bed. Not one nurse would have known that I was down. Those closed doors keep out the sounds, they also keep the sounds in. So much for the FALL RISK bands on my wrist. More care needs to be taken. When a person is sick they don't want to be shut off in a room. I hope I don't need to be hospitalized soon

Given that I would be off my feet for a while, I felt the need to recover at my mom's home in Yuma. My mom had recommended another place, but when I saw On Track via yelp, I felt they would be a better fit for my needs. From the start, Ashley was quick to respond via email and super helpful with my plethora of questions. The team was able to get me in within a few days notice. Ashley and Julia are very efficient and we worked the full hour every time. I'm a very independent "I can do it on my own" kind of person. But with this surgery, I was out of my element. They made me feel at ease every time. There was an abundance of laughter and of course, serious moments. But they were my cheerleaders for the 10/11 weeks I was there.
