He's an expert on the therapy itself and master of his craft. I initially visited Craig for back pain related to SI Joint dysfunction a few years ago and had great results after just one acupuncture treatment. Most recently, I saw Craig for an acute sciatica flare up that was excruciatingly painful, to the point that I could barely walk, stand, or even sit. He recommended acupuncture with cold laser for this. After one morning session, I noticed a significant decrease in pain and an increase in my overall level of mobility by the end of the day. Based on those results, I returned for a second session the following morning and have noticed even more progressive improvement since then. I am writing this about 10hrs post Session #2 and still have some residual twinges of pain and sore muscles in one leg, but the severe stabbing nerve pain has subsided. I want to make sure it's not just the instant feeling from visiting a business but to ensure the procedure actually worked and that I was fully happy with the results. Craig is awesome! I have received two full sessions of acupuncture and cupping and both times I have had IMMEDIATE RELIEF. Of course everybody is different. I initially went for a pulled muscle that happens every few months or so. I've tried full body and Swedish massages, chiropractors, and even electro therapy. This was my last resort as nothing else had worked in the past. I'm so thankful I found them! Pro tip: check Groupon, it appears that the other lady wasn't as savvy. I think the full price is more than fair and I definitely got my money's worth, even without the Groupon. I'd also like to note that I'm terrified of needles and both times I did not feel the needles with the acupuncture. The cupping is a bit intensive but I prefer it that way. I started going to Hidden Rhythm Acupuncture about 6 weeks ago. I have mild, chronic back pain and have tried quite a few different methods to improve the pain which haven't really worked. I've done yoga, strengthening exercises, massage therapy, etc. People have suggested acupuncture at various times and I decided to give it a try. After 2-3 treatments with Craig, I noticed my back wasn't hurting nearly as bad and after 6 treatments (weekly) it's actually feeling really good on a daily basis. I also do massage therapy once a month, which I've been doing for a year, but acupuncture seems to have given me the best results. Craig has also done cupping and a cold laser therapy. I'm planning to shift into 2x per month or monthly treatments to keep the results long-term, but so far have gone weekly for the last 6 months. If you have any pain in your back, I'd highly recommend acupuncture and Craig at Hidden Rhythm in particular. It's been a great experience. read more

5 stars for Craig Amrine I called Craig for the first time last week because I had a chronic skin irritation on my lower left arm. Frustrated from not being able to remedy the issue on my own after a month, I was able to schedule an appointment that same night. Craig stays open late on Wednesdays to accommodate those with 9-5 jobs. Thanks, Craig! Craig is personable and makes you feel at home. During the consultation session I offered a possible diagnosis (a pinched nerve somewhere). Many doctors are quick to dismiss any suggestion from patients who attempt to diagnose themselves. Craig listened to me and considered my input. Once I was on the acupuncture table, he was able to pinpoint the area on my neck causing the problem. Now that it has been a few days since the treatment I can report that my symptoms are under control. Whenever my arm feels itchy, I know to do some neck rolls and stretches. I believe the acupuncture and cold laser treatment had a positive effect, but it is impossible to measure it's true impact without a parallel experiment in which no treatment was done. The most important part of the experience is that Craig listened thoughtfully and considered all kinds of possibilities with a holistic mindset. He wasn't arrogant like other doctors- he just wholeheartedly used his knowledge and experience to re-solve the issue, which I appreciate. I went to Hidden Rhythm for acupuncture for labor induction. It was my first time doing acupuncture, and Craig was professional and made me feel comfortable. He was attentive to my needs throughout the session, and is a really nice guy. His dog Penny is also very sweet. However, an hour after leaving, while researching acupuncture, I came across an active Groupon for Hidden Rhythm, for one third the cost of what I had just paid. You can imagine how frustrating this was. I normally check Groupon for deals, but being hasty to get this baby out, I neglected to check this time. I e-mailed Craig and asked if there was anything he could do. I didn't expect my money back, but thought maybe we could work something out. He responded promptly and nicely, but basically told me "I can't do anything about it." I can't blame him for my not looking on Groupon, but I was disappointed that he wouldn't try to work with me being that I had only left his office an hour prior. Furthermore, we had talked about how I am a grad student, so I thought he might be willing to throw a bone to the pregnant student. All in all, the clinical service was good and professional, but I was disappointed with the lack of compassion in this situation. This alone will keep me from going back. I am so thankful I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Craig last March. Originally I went to him to treat an injured finger (one of those silly accidents where my finger was slammed by a sliding window). I am a massage therapist and the pain and inflammation was becoming more bothersome as time went on, especially while I was working. Craig is amazing! Acupuncture is out of this world. I never realized how truly healing and wonderful it could be. He set up his office to be so relaxing and comfortable. He keeps the table in his office so that if you're lying there during treatment and you need help or just have a question, he's right there for you. He doesn't treat a bunch of people at once, but gives totally personal, attentive care. He is thorough in making sure he treats the most important problems first and he uses his high level training in Traditional Chinese Medicine to get to the root of what ails you. He's personable and helpful and a wealth of knowledge! I would recommend him to anyone who has any problem really, but his work is especially great for pain, fatigue, restlessness, sleep problems, and other constitutional problems. He also uses cold lasers to treat injuries and scar tissue as well (which apparently he has designed many of his own lasers). Craig literally worked miracles for me. I came to Craig for help managing my extreme hypoglycemia and hypothyroidism. My energy levels were low and I was taking prescription medication to manage my symptoms.
