What a wonderful experience! My 4yr old daughter had a kink in her neck for days : ( I googled searched childrens acupuncture and Tempe Acupuncture was first on the list. When I called Jessica was so friendly she had me on the phone for 15min asking question and seemed genuinely concerned. I suffer from pretty significant jaw pain, as well and neck and upper back pain all related to teeth grinding while sleeping. It was affecting my quality of life. Since all the mouth guards, over the counter pain medication, etc, were not helping one bit, I decided to try acupuncture for the 1st time. I'm so glad I did. Jessica takes a good amount of time on the first visit to take a very thorough history and do a good exam to develop a treatment plan, and you never feel rushed. After the first treatment I could actually turn my head from side to side without pain. My jaw muscles were more relaxed. Plus, the treatment itself was so relaxing that I couldn't wait to go back. Jessica is an amazing practitioner. I initially saw her for back pain, neck pain, and headaches after my husband had great success with her after injuring his back at work. The acupuncture worked so well on our pain that I ended up seeing her for hormonal balancing and for treating depression and anxiety (sorry, getting personal, but others may need help with this as well). She also introduced Chinese herbs into my treatment and they worked wonders. When my five-year-old son picked up a mega virus in the hospital, she treated him as well (without needles). I haven't needed to see her for pain in a long time, but still occasionally get treatment for allergies. If you're scared of needles, go in and give it a try anyway.
