First time experience. Party of 7 at 2 pm on a spring Saturday in March. I recommend. Details…read morebelow. Booked online https://trolleypub.com/sanantonio/pub-crawl-route/ and texted link to all riders for waiver that is required to be signed in advance. Our time slot was changed to put us with other riders. I'm assuming they don't want to have two trips half full versus one trip totally full. Once that was confirmed, the total fee was charged. The address given 517 Live Oak is different than the Broadway address listed on Yelp page. Read the FAQs beforehand to get the best experience. We parked underneath the bridge, next to the hotel because it seemed safer than the vacant gravel parking lot on Live Oak. The meet up spot is the parking lot of a bar, Home Room. Arrived 15 minutes before scheduled departure time, as instructed. Trolley arrived at 2 pm. No name or ID verification or anything like that. Driver didn't have a set route or offer a route, so we requested the bars that are on the downtown route. Even though there is an ice chest onboard, we were able to fit our own small ice chest. (It wasn't clear if they provided ice in their chest but this trip they did. Our bag of snacks were stored in the overhead storage. We visited Box Car, Bentley's Beer Garden and Back Unturned. La Roca was on the list but it was closed. There was a gals party of 7 that road with us and they played their music, which was OK. They sat on the trolley the whole time, even when we did bar stops. They were salty and threw an occasional negative comment but by the end, they chilled out. Driver was friendly. We asked him to come inside the bars to flag us down when it was time to go. We tipped cash instead of doing it from follow up email. Trolley has power so pedaling is not critical. Seats can be a bit uncomfortable. There is a bench seat at the back (no pedals). According to their Yelp history, its been a while since this company was reviewed. So, know its legit.

We had a great time, felt safe, had fun, and visited some sweet spots! Also love that it drops us off at The Friendly Spot because that's always a good way to finish out! We'll be back soon!

I took this sightseeing tour for my birthday in 2022. As a former San Antonio resident, I was…read morelooking forward to seeing how the story of S.A. was told to tourists. The process for booking the tour was simple as it can be done online or in person. Patrons purchase tickets and are given a schedule of when the bus departs from the meeting point and of the sights the bus stops at. When entering the bus, patrons are permitted to sit wherever they choose on the double-decker bus. The Things elected to sit on the top deck in the baking hot sun (not recommended on a TX summer day). The tour is what you make it. You can craft your own route as the bus routes are designed to take you near the main landmarks in the city. By taking the hop on, hop off option, you can change routes and discover the city at leisure. The bus stops are multiple locations along the route, and the bus driver provides fun facts about the places along the bus route. While I didn't learn anything new about my city, The Things did. This is a great option for those looking to do something different in their own city or for those who are visiting S.A. for the first time.

Doesn't measure up with some of the other tours I been on. I will tell you that the tour can…read morereally hinge on the driver. We did have problems understanding due to bad acoustics on one of the buses. Another bus broke down. (It was replaced in 15mins). Because we hoped off and got back on, we had multiple drivers. One was really good... wish I knew her name (sorry). But she was informative and played music on her iPod when she wasn't talking. (Nice) One driver however, literally talked to the two women in the front seats about the Pink Concert that was happening in the evening. I was thinking.... Tell me about the damn history!! I just did a tour in Austin that was a lot cheaper and was way more fun and informative. (But it wasn't a hop on/hop off tour) Wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't do it again. Could have driven to most of the stop and even with parking, would have been cheaper.

Visited on…read morea Friday evening, the front area was quite full, but they have lots of seating behind the gift shop area. Drinks are always tasty with the unique flavors of their own distilled spirits. They sell snacks and sometimes have food trucks outside. Service is always fantastic. I believe they have live music on the weekends, but we left before the music began. Also, if you are looking for a venue for your celebration, you can rent out the distillery. My co-worker had her retirement party here and they allowed her to bring in her selected caterer. We had such a fun time.

Although the locale is humble/industrial, once inside, Ranger Creek has a brewery/distillery vibe that is welcoming, relaxing, and just works. We had some bourbon flights, and we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of Ranger Creek bourbon. The Texas Landmark mesquite smoked bourbon was my favorite and well suited to both sipping and high end Old Fashioneds. Is Ranger Creek as good as Garrison? No, but it was better than we expected and the location was convenient Service: Very pleasant, good service Value: Good value, especially the Friday happy hour offering $5 Old Fashioneds.
