This event facility is recently built located on Arctic Road…read more I've attended a community event, a private event, and concerts here. It is one of few Anchorage event facilities available to rent, that can hold over 150 people. Parking is ample and the building is secluded enough from neighboring homes. The facility includes a coffee shop/cafe area that you can choose to be open during your event. The facility kitchen is large and open. You have the ability to choose what spaces you want to rent, with the largest space being the gym. If your event has alcohol you will be required to rent the facility as a whole. I like that all rental information to include costs, deposits, etc is laid out clearly online. You will not need to contact anyone directly until you are ready. I believe they even have bouncy houses available to rent. Like most facilities, they have staff there watching. Sometimes they're cool, sometimes they're annoyingly saying the music is too loud when we in the crowd, can barely hear it. Gotta take the good with with the bad ya know?!

Coffee shop staff is super nice, decent/regular prices. If your kid is going to a basketball program (like mine is), make sure you sign them in. You have to- for liability purposes. We didn't for basketball games, but for practice yes. They host Halloween events (and possibly other holiday events) that I've seen too, just haven't been able to go to them. Bathrooms and pretty much everywhere in general is clean and staff is nice.

The most friendly owners. I ended up joining an archery league through FCA once a week for 9 weeks. It was a really fun time and I looked forward to every Wednesday coming to the shop to shoot in league. Everyone was super friendly and gave me lots of advice and pointers. I totally recommend FCA for a new person getting into archery, or wanting to get into archery. Very welcoming environment and not intimidating at all. So happy I found this place!

I pay $18 for my son to have two hours of uninterrupted, peaceful play time. When I take him to other indoor playgrounds, I have to be at his side because other kids push him around, and I feel there are too many places for him to wander off at (I have a runner). At Busy Bee Playhouse, I feel confident to sit down and catch up on paperwork, for example, while my son gets to play. They have a nice, big structure for kids to burn their energy, toys, a train table, books, and lots of open ended play options so that it's not too overwhelming/overstimulating. They have a small fridge for snacks and drinks to purchase, a little boutique with toys and bamboo clothing, AND it's CLEAN! I can't say enough good things! There's a room for mothers to nurse in, two diaper changing stations, and I know they host a dance or music class here too that I haven't looked into too much just yet. Overall, I'm happy with this business and I plan to bring my son here once a week.

A track around both of the rinks is great for running because it is cool in the center and you can watch both hockey rinks from above the glass. This place is just too much fun, whether I'm catching a football game, playing in a hockey tournament or just in for some refreshments. It doesn't get better than this sports center.
