I was preparing to tell her how I wanted to change the trial makeup to something more pink, but that morning, Jessie brought up the idea of changes to me first! She suggested a pink look would look better and I was impressed because I felt the same way. I appreciated that Jessie spoke out about what she thought would look better on me; I felt like she had my back! In total, we had 11 people who needed both hair and makeup. I was worried that it would take a very long time, but Jessie and her two assistants run like a well-oiled machine! Started at 8am, done by 1230pm! All my girls looked beautiful!! I had balayage highlights and a trim done on December 2nd, totaling $708 including tip. Within 4-5…read moredays I noticed my highlights turning brassy, and by day 7-8 they were extremely brassy. I reached out to Mola on day 8 to ask about coming in for another toner. Due to scheduling conflicts, I wasn't able to come back until December 23rd. A toner was applied, which I assumed would be complimentary given how quickly the brassiness appeared, but paid $177 including tip. Unfortunately, within a week the highlights were brassy again. I reached out on December 30th to let her know. She suggested it could be due to hard water, but I do not have hard water, and the brassiness started appearing before I ever washed my hair. After doing some research, I learned that if highlights are not lifted enough, brassy tones can return very quickly. I asked if some of the highlights could be corrected, as this was a big financial investment and I was very unhappy with the result. After that, she completely stopped responding to my emails. Being ghosted after spending nearly $900 total is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I expected better communication and accountability.

Based on my aggressive hair request, we set an in salon consultation to confirm expectations on both sides were aligned. Consultation took a few minutes and after snipping a small full length piece of hair she would test the exact process she would be applying to my whole head and would receive her final judgement of what she could do healthily via email later that day. I agreed to her proposal later that evening and we quickly set an appt. for the next day! The salon itself is clean, beautiful and incredibly welcoming. It's truly the best environment you could ask for in a hair salon. Mola was meticulous and kind. She's so professional and beyond knowledgeable for everything and anything hair related. I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft. The result was exactly what I was hoping for from the very beginning when I stepped into the other salon. Note to self....i will never see any other stylist.
