Hibashi Party is serving up a party in your piehole with some perfectly piquant Japanese provisions.
They stopped by the office today and set up for lunch, which was convenient, because I frequently eat food at lunch.
I ordered a ton a food, starting with the Bento Box Combo. I chose Chicken Karaage with fried rice. The combo came with a couple of egg rolls, a fried dumpling, salad, and a "Jax Roll", a krab, cream cheese, shrimp tempura sushi roll topped with spicy Mayo and eel sauce.
The chicken karaage was crispy, salty, and delicious. The side players played no side parts. The egg rolls and fried dumpling were hot and crunchy. And the Jax Roll was a perfect sweet/spicy complement.
If that wasn't enough, I also ordered the two sushi rolls: the Party On The Truck and the Flamin' Hot Cheetos rolls.
The Party On The Truck is made with shrimp tempura, cream cheese, krab, and topped with krab delight and seaweed salad, crispy krab, eel sauce and spicy mayo. It was a beautiful bite of taste, texture, and temperature.
The Flamin' Hot Cheetos roll was filled with krab, cream cheese, shrimp tempura, and topped with spicy kimchee mayo, and what appeared to be a family-sized bag of Flamin' Hot Cheeto crumbs. If hot and spicy is what you're looking for, than look no further than this roll.
What a great truck and now one of my new favorites. Give them a follow so you know where they set up. read more
