The Nashville Hot chicken we ordered was massive, and it was some of the best I've tried in a long time, especially in Columbus. The chicken was super juicy while the breading retained a ridiculously delicious and spicy crunch. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for. The heat level was great, since I love it spicy, and it was absolutely caked in cayenne paste. I also ordered the Jambayala, which was solid as well. It definitely could use some more heat, and I don't think anyone else would mind if the spices in it were kicked up a notch. The chicken and sausage was tasty, and cooked just right, so I can't complain. Like I said, I'm not sure what the deal is here unless the bourbon chicken was just that bad, but I find it hard to believe. I'll check back though and try it. I like that Schmidts doesn't subscribe to that Hot Dog business. It's a Frankfurter! I asked for a Frankfurter with onions and the dude put it together in about 4 seconds. I stuck it in my pocket and used it as a handwarmer on the way back to where I was staying. I ate it standing by a frozen birdbath in the backyard.
