I've noticed this trailer for months, but just haven't been able to get there when I actually have…read moresome time and I'm hungry. It's in the parts store/dollar store lot off Agler. Pretty standard menu, but it all looks good. And it all was good. I got a birria eggroll, some esquites, and a pastor torta. The torta was absolutely excellent. Great bread, great meat, fresh veggies. A combination of flavors and textures that was just right. I wasn't even super hungry and polished off the whole thing, and it was pretty big. The equitos were very good. You can also get elotes. The birria eggroll was also very good. A very good eggroll, and very good birria, and a cup of consommé on the side. To me the two don't really go together well, but it's a fad now. There has to be birria in everything. The wrapper was great and fried up perfectly, the meat was tender and tasty. It does work, don't get me wrong, but it's really pushing the eggroll boundaries for me. I also got a horchata. Cold and sweet and huge. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are good. I will definitely be back. Notes: oddly, even though it has Machete in the name, those are not on the menu. I didn't ask, but I'm sure they can make them. And the credit card machine and their social media point to a restaurant with a different name, Los Catrines Antojitos Mexicanos. So I don't know if this is connected to the Machete in Obetz, or is it its own thing and they've just changed the name of the restaurant, or what.

Have been meaning to stop and last night I had the opportunity. To no disappointment - had I known…read morewhat I was missing would have been going daily! The taco birria and esquites were AMAZING! I savored every bite, both were perfectly prepared. Friendly and quick service as well. They have a great pager system so if needed you can pop back in your car to wait on your order.

Sweet T's Southern Style Food Truck - Some of the best Nashville Hot Chicken in town

I'm not really sure about the scathing reviews below other than a bunch of 'Southern' people trying…read moreto flex, but I had no qualms at all with this food truck. The guys running it were super friendly and chatty and were super proud of the food they're producing. Unfortunately, it's reviews on here that make people hate Yelps, so unless they were terrible a year ago, then I'm not sure what's going on here. The Nashville Hot chicken we ordered was massive, and it was some of the best I've tried in a long time, especially in Columbus. The chicken was super juicy while the breading retained a ridiculously delicious and spicy crunch. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for. The heat level was great, since I love it spicy, and it was absolutely caked in cayenne paste. I also ordered the Jambayala, which was solid as well. It definitely could use some more heat, and I don't think anyone else would mind if the spices in it were kicked up a notch. The chicken and sausage was tasty, and cooked just right, so I can't complain. Like I said, I'm not sure what the deal is here unless the bourbon chicken was just that bad, but I find it hard to believe. I'll check back though and try it. I really don't understand why people are basing southern cooking off a 4 ingredient dish that you can get at any fair or festival like its the epitome of Cajun cooking but whatever. You do you. I know I'll be back.

I'm writing this review with one hand because I refuse to put my sweet tea down. As you can tell…read morefrom the picture, I got a little of everything. So let's dive in... The crispy bourbon chicken over Carolina gold rice is honestly the southern/Asian fusion fried rice I didn't know I needed. I know it's not typically made with crispy chicken but it should be. It just should. There were bits of traditional bourbon chicken I think he rice along with scallions, and so different textures in every bite. And if you're not familiar with Carolina Gold rice, do your googles and learn. It's an heirloom grain that's making a comeback and for good reason. It's so much more flavorful than regular rice. The brisket Mac and cheese belongs together, I could have done without the cornflakes, but they do bring a nice crunch to the dish, and however the brisket mac is sauced...sheesh!!!! Like I said this brisket and this mac belong together. And then there's the fried green tomatoes. The tomato was tangy and fresh, the breading not too heavy to overpower and nicely seasoned. A well balanced profile. The aioli was dressed a little heavy on mine, but it definitely gives you that southern flavor, tangy, smooth, and little sweet. I'd follow them just for the tea and lemonade, so the great food was a bonus. When you remember this is coming out of a food truck, you'll appreciate just how good this is. I'm gonna take a few more bites and then hit my blog and show Sweet's more love.

The chicken was very well seasoned, but it was dry, tough and too thick. The bread is way too dense also. My suggestions would be to toast the bread a little to warm it up and to loosen it up a bit, cut the chicken thinner, cook it for less time or marinate it so it isn't so dry. It also wouldn't hurt to add a little more slaw and/or sauce to bring moisture back into the sandwich. Navin's customer service is top notch! For this reason, I would consider eating Trucking Delicious again, but I won't be eating the Jerk Chicken Sandwich.

Luckily I looked out the window, saw the truck and was hungry enough to ask Navin for chicken & waffles anyway. I'm so glad I did! He was able to serve me and I enjoyed learning about how this food truck came to be. The chicken was divine-- smoked and then he flash fries it upon order and that skin was crackling crispy! Huge drumsticks with delicious sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. Even the waffle had homemade flavor and texture that was top notch! When they advertise about being from scratch, they are not messing around. What a pleasant lunch surprise this was. I hope Mount Vernon has many occasions to bring them back into town and/or issues them clearance to serve regularly.
