This is a serious food safety failure that could have sent someone to the hospital with salmonella or E. coli. See attached photo. When I flagged down a gentleman walking through the restaurant who appeared to be a manager, he quickly took the dish and scrambled away. Upon returning, his response was that it "certainly won't hurt you," followed by multiple excuses and a half-hearted apology. There was zero acknowledgment of the danger and zero accountability. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from management at any restaurant. They remade the dish and took it off the bill, which is the bare minimum and nowhere near an adequate response to serving a customer a health hazard. On top of that, I have had better sushi from $14 buffets, and at casino restaurant prices, that is simply not acceptable. The fish was far from fresh. I do want to give credit where it is due. Our server Webster did a great job. He was attentive and professional. He deserves better than to be associated with a kitchen and management that operate like this. Tien is coasting on IP Casino foot traffic rather than earning its customers. When a kitchen sends out raw poultry and management shrugs it off with excuses, that tells you everything you need to know about their standards.
