I have been going to Madelina for hair and makeup for years and have always had a great experience. Coming from someone who always has high expectations, she has always gone above and beyond. She has her signature makeup look and everytime she does my makeup it stays on all day and doesn't move. Also, the best stylist there is. Madelina gives the best signature blowouts that last me a couple days. I've gotten compliments on my hair even on day 3! I can't imagine anyone else doing my hair and makeup for any of my events big or small. Hiam, has been trimming my hair for 10 years now and I'm very satisfied every time. She listens to what you want and does exactly what you've asked for. Hiam's blowouts are also my favorite. Hiam takes the time to remember your personal style as if she can read your mind about what you want and gives you her opinion on what she thinks will look/suite you the best. Trusting someone to cut my hair has not always been the easiest, but sitting in Hiam's chair I know I'm in great hands. Talking about my nieces hair and making unnecessary comments. Like just do your job lady. Disrespectful people. Inconsiderate. They called to cancel my makeup appointment. I couldn't answer because I was at work and they didn't even bother to leave a voicemail. I had their number saved in my phone, but the person calling used their personal phone, so I didn't recognize the number. I show up to the appointment the next day and Hiam tells me that they cancelled my appointment because her daughter is sick and can't do my makeup. She had the nerve to ask why I didn't answer. I asked her why didn't they leave a voicemail if it was that important and that I was at work and didn't recognize the number. So unprofessional. Don't give these people your business. read more

THE WORST! SALON! Anyone could ever go to. The eye brow lady is the only nice one and I could only recommend going to her to get your brows done. HORRIBLE!!! This salon has the absolute worst customer service. Madelina has a terrible attitude and doesn't think she does. After she rudely spoke with me, she claimed I had the attitude when I was only responding to her. We flew in from another state after delayed and canceled flights and showed up a little late. Instead of calmly telling us that she doesn't have enough time for all of us and hearing what we had to say, she cut us off every time we said something. She didn't give us a chance to speak and she also didn't reserve enough time for 3 people doing hair and makeup. Absolutely the worst hair salon I've ever stepped foot in to. From start to end- the whole experience was a nightmare. Hiam and her staff are very unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment for myself and my 3 daughters. We arrived on time only to leave hours later which was not anticipated. We were overcharged for crap work. Hiam's daughter, who was filling in for one of the stylist, has no experience styling hair- her background is criminal justice and she even joked about how she had to work that morning despite not having any experience. My only regret is not walking out at that point. It only got worse by the minute. Obscenely overcharged and walked out so disappointed. I can't stress enough how awful this place is. Spare yourself the headache and go somewhere else because this place is a joke of a so called hair salon. Not worth the time or money spent here! read more

Hiam's touch. i wish i can give negative stars. I will only go here again to get my eyebrows done, because the lady doing my eyebrows actually has respect and shes talented. as for that one lady working there? i am still so absolutely disgusted that my mom was screamed at. she literally came up to her face and screamed at my mother. foul. what happened exactly? well, my mom never really put false lashes on before, and she wanted you guys to help her. we were going to a party . i think the lady working there offered to put my moms lashes on, and she said "okay i never do this ever but i'll do it for you for free" and i thought that was a bit unecessary to say but i didnt think anything of it. and then my mom asked her if she can cut the lashes because she doesnt like the size of them. and the lady was becoming frusterated with her, i think also about the glue or something too, and my mom noticed she was sighing and rolling her eyes. my mom said "hey, if you dont want to do this you dont have to". calmly. and the lady became extremely angry and she repremanded her. i was staring at her, completely dumbfounded at the way she was treating her. shes like "theyre eyelashes. theyre eyelashes" wel not everyone knows how to put lashes on, lady. she literally walks out for a minute and my mom was telling the nice eyebrow lady "this is not how you treat your customers and that you should treat your customers with respect if you want them to come back" and the eyebrow lady. was. shushing. her. as if this happens all the time. and then the lady came back and now i know why they were shushing my mom. she literally said "wow youre taking behind my back?" my mom wasnt talking behind your back, she was saying that this is not the way she should be treated by an employee. and then she WALKS up to my mom and shes like one inch away from my mom and she goves her a TONGUE LASHING. and then she tells my mom, whos not saying anything, TO RELAX. and then she goes to the back and never comes out, and i hear her still yelling about my mom. wow. wow wow wow is all i can say. im not exaggerating her behavior at all. i was literally about to cry. my anxiety was going crazy. and for what? eyelashes. i just want to know why my mom deserved that. because she really didnt and i will never ever want to recommend this place to anyone unless they want to be treated like dirt on the floor. lady, you cant demand respect from someone if youre not gonna respect them. absolutely disgusting behavior. read more

I went here for my cousins henna along with a couple more of my family members. The cleanliness of the place is what made me second guess everything. The hairstylist was very sweet and did a great job. The makeup artist on the other hand, did a great job BUT had many unprofessional moments. I saw the makeup artist drop a brush on the dirty ground and just pick it up and put them in between the rest of her brushes as if it didn't just fall. She uses the same mascara on all clients instead of disposable ones, her makeup palettes were not clean. Especially during a pandemic, I would have expected her to be way more clean and sanitize everything. She also yelled at me WHILE she turned her back because I looked down at my Apple Watch for literally a second. I think her mom is the owner, that's why she kept acting strange and unprofessional. She would have moments where she just randomly started dancing or she would talk about weird topics in front of everyone. On top of all this, they don't charge everyone the same prices. She charged my aunt $600+ for FOUR people just for simple makeup and simple curls. Once we saw that she charged them for full glam and updos, we had to convince her that it was a ridiculous price for simple stuff. If you can find a better salon, I suggest you do. read more

Literally the worst salon I've ever been to.. and I've been to a lot. I would not recommend this salon, especially for an event. I really wish I could give this place -284739193829292 stars. My sister had called and made an appointment for her, my other sister, and my mother. My mom ended up not coming for the appointment, so my sister called me and told me to take my mom's spot. --My sisters live 3 hours away from this salon. We get to the salon, and the owner was the RUDEST most unprofessional person I have ever met. First, she had a horrible attitude and did not want me in the salon because the were "busy" and I hadn't made an appointment. I explained to her that I was taking my mother's spot and she still SO RUDE and didn't want me there! THEN! this horrible owner failed to call my sister and let her know that there was only room for ONE person to do makeup.. they drove 3 hours to be told no one would do their makeup!! I was furious! I told her they drove all this way for nothing, no one called her! and the owner then gets in my face, yelling, "Are you calling me a liar? Huh?! I called! I called and no one answered!" My sister pulls out her phone and shows that there are no missed calls from a number with their area code, and the owner goes nuts! I ended up doing both my sisters' makeup since I am experienced. I took one of my sisters to the bathroom to do her makeup and the owner then comes banging on the bathroom door, yelling, "I need to use the bathroom!!" so I quickly grab my things and we leave and she literally closes the door behind us without even using the bathroom. As we were leaving, the owner and her unprofessional employees start making faces and laughing. Whatever you do, DO NOT COME HERE. The ladies at this salon are only nice if you are friends or family. We came from out of town and our appointment was supposed to be at noon and was confirmed for then. She claims that our appointment is at 1 pm instead so we waited till 1:45 and she was still working on another client's face. Came her to get my hair cut since I wear a hijab. Was recommended to me by my relative who also wears a hijab. First thing I noticed was that the main window was see-through into the salon. I asked if the blinds could be turned down, the owner reassured me that nobody could see through and that most of the women who work in the salon also wear the hijab (head scarf). After the hair cut I went outside and looked back in and you could see everyone in the salon! The haircut itself was ok - no shampoo or offer to style. Cost was 20$. Got my makeup done here a few times and really liked the way it was done. I had to wait a bit even though I had an appointment, but she didn't need an hour or an hour a half to do my makeup. Overall, she does a good job, but the experience there is terrible. 1. Terrible attitude towards customers, she's averagely priced so I don't understand the hype. 2. She also is very stingy and focuses more on money than customer experience. 3. A few months ago, last summer she booked 6 brides in one morning(which take on average 2-3 hours each) and kept each bride up to 6 hours waiting inside of the Salon to finish the job, she is severely understaffed and unqualified in this situation. My wife and other brides missed their wedding day photo-shoots and some were late for their own wedding. I'm sure for a normal visit she's okay, but definitely don't book her for a major event. Unprofessional, salon is dirty and dusty, hair all over the place, cheat people by over charging for simple style, "make-up artist" doesn't clean her brushes (which I should report them to the state board), employees are not trained properly and probably do not have certification to do hair, and they use way too much hair spray. If you want to own a business, have a better business model. You may get away with nice hairstyles and decent makeup, but you can at least try to make your clients feel welcomed, and treated fairly. Makeup artist has a bad attitude, even to her mother. So you can only imagine how she treats her clients. Where do I start? Let me just say, the make up artist does her job great. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the hairstylist. I waited 6 hours to get my hair done in simple curls. SIMPLE CURLS. There are 3 or 4 girls that only curl/blow dry your hair. There is only one person that styles it and it takes forever to get out. Don't come here if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. After a horrible experience I DID NOT want to tip. After I paid I was waiting for my change but the owner just took the change and gave it to one of her workers without even asking me. Came here to get my make up done for my baby shower. Walked in and told the owner, Hiam, that I had a make up appointment and she told me to have a seat. 15 min pass by and I get up to ask how much longer. I'm answered with "she's on her way" so I've been there for 20 min already and the make up artist is not even there..? Another 10 min pass by when Hiam goes outside to make a call. I overhear the other 2 hairdressers talking saying that "Madelina (the makeup artist) can't lift her head up" when Hiam comes back I ask her what's going on and she tells me Madelina is "sick." At this point I am pissed. I ask her why the hell did she not tell me that from the beginning so I could figure something out?! And what kind of sick is she?! Mind you, I'm 8 months pregnant I don't need someone that is sick to be all up in my face. She tells me that she's throwing up, but she's coming.. I'm furious and freaking out now so I make a few phone calls and luckily I find someone that can squeeze me in. Shout out to @makeupby.mia for taking me last second !!! I later find out that this Madelina person had her bachelorette party the night before so she was most likely just hungover.. how extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate and rude to schedule an appointment the morning after your bachelorette party. I had pictures of exactly what I wanted to be done (keep in mind I booked my appt a month before) I was waiting 2 hours for my makeup n she did the opposite of what I wanted, I wanted a silver n black smokey eye she did a orange smoked eye. I experienced horrible service here. I had called days in advance and the day before my appointment to confirm my bridal bravo as I was coming from out of town. When I arrived to the salon, I was invited to take a seat for my haircut after confirming my name and information. I explained I wasn't here for a haircut but a bridal bravo. Then I was told that I was confused with another client who was also from where I was?! This made absolutely no sense as I was then told that there was no time to give me a makeup bravo as the daughter was leaving for the day. I expressed my frustration with coming such a long way to be told that I had no appointment. The daughter rushed my bravo which I was not pleased with the end result of and then proceeded to tell me that she noticed my sass with the matter earlier. Holding them both accountable for their unprofessionalism on the matter and asking to be accommodated for is not having sass. The mother/daughter handled the situation in such an unprofessional manner and I was overcharged from what I was told I would pay over the phone. Stay away! Not only did I wait an hour past my appointment, but after Hiam cut my hair, she left it wet and hardly styled it. She smoked indoors, while a dog barked, and she chatted with her friend loudly while cutting my hair. Hair was all over my chair and on the ground before she even began. I thought she would clean it up, but she carelessly swept it to the side, and ushered for me to sit down.
