Beer is ok, but I love that they have different unique flavors on tap. Location is large and I love the rooftop. It's a good place to come hang with friends.

My Mr. was ecstatic when he found out that Hi-Wire is coming to Cincinnati. He's from North Carolina, so having this brewery felt close to home for him. My in laws were in town so we decided to check it out on a mid afternoon. Very spacious, awesome decor, plenty of outdoor seating, they even have a rooftop and you can play games such as Cornhole outside. They definately have a good beer selection. I believe 24 on tap when we went. Not feeling beer? They do have can wine and cocktails. But we decided to get a flight: Japanese Rice lager Cherry pie parfait Italian pils Mountain water Margarita sour Red rye lager Electric squeeze IPA 10-40w mudslide stout Bed of nails brown ale Leisure time lager Rad Kolsch Bourbon barley wine My fave was the Japanese Rice lager and the leisure time lager. I tried the mudslide and fell in love with it, however I can't drink too much because it's not lactose free. They have carry out beers, T-shirt's, hats, bags and more. Feeling hungry? You can order Angelo's pizza and have it delivered to the brewery. I love the vibe of this place. Very laid back, great service and also pet friendly.

I really enjoyed my visit here! I was skeptical to bring my dog because I had never been here before, but they welcomed him and even gave him a treat at the bar. I got a beer flight, and they were all very tasty. The rooftop, which overlooks the courtyard, had all different kinds of seating. It was a pleasant place to sit back, relax, listen to music and just hang out!

Create your own tasting flights, dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating and food delivered quickly from Decibel Chicken. Winner all around! I hope this area thrives! We'll definitely be back with our dog and friends for a relaxing afternoon/evening.

Awesome brews and east food from Angelo's Pizza or or Decibel Chicken. I picked chicken and it was here in a flash. Flights and pints all were awesome. Atmosphere is open, welcoming and friendly. Room for kids and adults alike on the large patio and adjoining lawn. Music and shows coming soon as the bandstand is being completed as I look. Norwood is definitely blooming and High Wire is a big part of the fun!

Great beers, great vibes. Bartenders are quick and friendly. This is in such a great location with lots of new things coming soon so this will be a great place to spend the whole evening hopping around. As far as I know you can bring your own food. There's upstairs and downstairs, bathrooms on each floor, with stairs or elevator. Dog friendly. Great swag selection. And I believe they have events all throughout the week. Would return

Hi-Wire Brewing from Asheville, NC opened their first brewery in Cincinnati at the new Factory52 development. They have 21 of their beers on tap and 3 guest ciders. Cincinnati loves their beer & was evident at the Grand Opening on Saturday, April 1st plus what started out as a nice day, turned into a cloudy windy day perfect for enjoying craft beer which I think half of the city showed up as the brewery inside was packed. We did enjoy a few beers - me a Juicy IPA, a Margarita sour and friend who enjoys lighter beer Hi-Wire had a few selections for her too. Note Factory 52 still has a lot under construction but by this summer with the 3rd floor deck, plus outdoor bar area this place will be hopping and welcome revitalization to Norwood. Parking there's a parking lot, parking garage and street parking

Great place to meet up with friends and have a beer. Love that the outside seating has view of the park. Whole area dog friendly which we love. We are without a fuzzy baby, so we live vicariously through others.

Ashevilles favorite to Cinci. Great variety of brews to a great Cincinnati location. Love the views and potential.

Hi-Wire is a very nice brewery. It's got an extremely cool vibe both indoor and outdoor. (upper 3rd floor gives a great view of the Factory 52 complex). The bartenders were extremely nice and helpful. Boy did we need their help. There's a great variety of beers (24) HOWEVER they're listed only by name. SO, we had to ask about the ones that didn't have the type of beer in their name. Even the website didn't have all of them. That would be the reason for 4 stars and not 5. Just one line about type of beer up on the list would make it a 5. The flight beers were good. (ale, brown, 2 IPA's) The red ale was even better.

    Let's walk the wire!

When I heard Hi-Wire Brewing was opening a place here in Cincinnati, I immediately knew I wanted to check it out as soon as they opened. They're one of my favorite North Carolina breweries, and being from NC, I gotta represent the Tarheel state. My lady and I went on a Friday when my parents were in town. The place was a little difficult to find with all the bustling construction around but we finally found it after a bit of searching. It was much bigger than I'd expected; three floors, a rooftop bar, and loads of outdoor seating. We checked out the bar on the first floor which was very cool and laid back with unique playing card based artwork everywhere. Perfect since the place used to be the old Bicycle Playing Card Factory. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. They had 24 taps all featuring Hi-wire goodness along with other canned options. They also have lots of shirts, hats, and numerous other goodies for sale and packs of canned brew to go. Plus they're very dog-friendly so you can bring the pups too. We started with some flights consisting of: 1. Japanese Rice lager Cherry pie parfait Italian pils Mountain water 2. Margarita sour Red rye lager Electric squeeze IPA 10-40w mudslide stout 3. Bed of nails brown ale Leisure time lager Rad Kolsch Bourbon barley wine All the brews were tasty, especially the Cherry Parfait, rice lager, red rye lager, and Mudslide. We ordered a couple more pints after our flight were finished and really enjoyed those too. Hi-Wire is a welcome addition to the ever-growing Cincinnati craft beer scene. Excellent beer in a relaxed atmosphere with a great staff. One day, we WILL win the title of "Beer City USA".

Phenomenal atmosphere, location and staff! Loved the experience and will be coming back again soon! Everything about the Asheville location that we fell in love with and more here in our backyard! A must stop if in Cincinnati!

To start this place is a "sit down" but you have to order at the bar and they bring it to you. We were a tad thrown off with that since they literally had waiters and people roaming around, didn't make sense to me. But that was just the start! We decided to order nachos and a pretzel to start the meal. The pretzel was disgusting, hard and lacking flavor and the $14 nachos was a side plate with a small portion of nachos on it. I asked the server what was with the size of the nachos and he said he though they were normal. They aren't, you go to a normal bar and for $14 comes out a platter with nachos that are loaded. Then our mains came out, my wife's salad was gross, lacking flavor and with dry chicken and my burger was decent. For $90 this meal should have been WAYYY better. We left feeling very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

We absolutely love their nachos and, of course, their variety of drinks. Their nachos were perfectly cheesy, and the guac on top adds the nicest flavor and oomph to the massive tray. It's got a huge inside with long tables and a large bar, plenty of space for large groups. Outside is even bigger, with plenty of tables of all sizes for any group. We sat outside to hear the trivia better and enjoy the pleasant evening. You order your drinks at the bar and your food through a QR code on the table you're sitting at. This process was nice, as we didn't have to track anyone down or stare at a menu while trying to order with a line behind us. We got our beers from a friendly bartender, sat, and took our time scrolling through the menu. Our food came together, which was strange as we expected the wing appetizer to come first. The pizza was awesome! The cheese blend reminds me a lot of costcos. The wings were just okay. Maybe I am not a buffalo person, but overall they did not have much flavor. Next time we'll try something else. Prices can add up, but it is nothing crazy compared to places around town. If you want a nice evening with good drinks, good atmosphere, and good food, I'd recommend here.

We had hoped for food, but the business that does food in the building is another company and they were out for spring break. So sad. ;-) The brewery has a nice vibe to it. There is a small taproom with a much larger Oktoberfest styled hall (meaning large community tables). There are plugs here if you work remote, although I would NEVER do that. :P The beers are not the best I had in Cincy, but they are above the average in Cincy, so it is definitely above average. It is also a well-known, stable brewery. I understand Listermann recently sold the spot, so it will be interesting to see if there are changes going forward. The board is a bit heavy at this point, with quite a few brews over 10%. My feelings on the beers? The IPAs are decent, but they shine brightly with their stouts and pastry sours. The blackberry cobbler sour (12%) and Forbidden Imperial Stout got my top marks. Would love to return and see how the food is here, but spring break worked against me. If you go through my profile, you will find I have a couple of hidden gems we found on our trek.
