So you are planning a trip into Boise in your RV and need a place to stay? Want to be central to Boise, Eagle, and Meridian? Want a safe, clean place that isn't a fortune? Need to stay for awhile? Call Hi-Valley. We booked a week here a little over a month ago. They are filling up fast and now are booked up through summer. I am sad/happy to continue on our trip but we really liked our one week stay. Here is the deal with this place. They have many residents here, most of the spots are filled with month to month renters. There are a little under 40 spots for short timers, or weekly renters. The full timers here are a mixed bunch of really nice and inviting people. I feel like this is a mix between retired folks, families, and working individuals. The place is run by some of the residents. I like the vibe here, it feels safe and friendly. The facilities are good with a big community club house (that resembles a living room, kitchen, and office), bathrooms with showers, a laundry room, small workout room, mail services, a dog park, playground, pool and spa. The park is all gravel and pavement with a few trees scattered about. The spaces are very close together but if you are in an RV, who cares? People are nice and it is a place to stay in a residential/ farm/ urban area so who is complaining about how much space you get here? The park backs up to a canal and you can take a walk along a path that runs parallel to it. If you need to get anywhere in the area, you are not far from it. The place is clean, safe, and a great place to call home for a day, a week or longer.

Very nice place to relax. Lots to do in the area also. The staff here was very friendly and willing to help wherever it was needed. The sites are green grass with concrete patios. All asphalt roadways. Your rig will park on gravel. I would definitely return here next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

Hot tub was terrible and the pilot guy helping to park you was rude and told us to park where we couldn't open our step.

The best RV stay in the Boise area. Nicest staff and a very clean pool, laundry, shower room. We will be back again.

I thought I had written a review about this location when we were here in July. Not sure where it…read morewent. I will write one now. We were here on July 20-22, 2021. I was so excited to visit this place and was hoping it was as good as I hoped. It was! I am hoping to make Idaho a regular trip every summer and if it is, this will be my go to place. This campground has full hookups. The pads are long. Granted, we only have a 17' trailer but it was nice to have a pull through (others are back ins). Our spot had a little 2 person table on a patch of grass as well as a slab of concrete (perfect for our chairs). The unique part of this location is that it has a pond which looks like it's just for looks but actually you are allowed to swim in it. We brought our floaties and just enjoyed the water falling on us as we floated around. The location has a community building that is VERY clean. You can do laundry here or play games. They also have showers that normally have towels but they were all used by the time we finished in the pond. Propane: You just let the office know, put the tank on your number, then someone comes by, takes it, fills it up, returns it. So convenient. In the evening it is pretty quiet. We had our bikes so rode around the park. Very tranquil. There is a donut shop about a block away. We rode our bikes to it on the next day. Before we left, the owner stopped by and I felt that I was meeting a celebrity. I had read her blog from the start to the last one so felt that I knew her already. Definitely make this your stop when in Nampa or Boise. Not a lot of shade but because the way we were angled in spot #38, the sun hitting us was not a problem. Oh, before I forget, they have a decent size dog park so your pup(s) can run around.

Stayed 6 nights at this very nice campground. The people we met and office staff were extremely…read morenice and helpful. Sites had a gravel space with a little grass btw sites and a small concrete area for a couple of chairs. It's a quiet campground. Sites are a smidge on the smaller side. Think enough room for our 38 ft 5th wheel with truck parked next to us but not a lot of extra space. It worked for us however. We would stay here again. Location convenient for what we had planned.

Oh man, oh man, oh man--all of the heart eyes! (Not the easiest thing in the world to get to, but…read morelike a hidden treasure, once you find it, the hunt is so worth it!) How to get there(ish): 1. Head up ID 55 like you're going towards McCall 2. Hang a right on Banks Lowman Highway 3. Drive for 28 miles and then you'll see Pine Flats Campground on the right 4. (Now getting to the hot springs is a bit tricky. Side note: I definitely would NOT recommend attempting this in snowy weather, that just would not be smart or safe.) Anyways, you're going to take a trail that runs sort of by the river and is towards the rightmost part of the campground. You'll walk for what I assume to be a quarter mile, and then voila! You'll arrive at a beach along the river with massive boulders and pools stacked against the hillside (this is all natural by the way)! The Campground: Parking is $5/day, and I am not sure about the cost of overnight camping as we only made a day trip here. They have one bathroom here, and, well, it's totally a public park bathroom. The Views: We went on an October weekend, so we had a view that combined all things beautiful that Idaho has to offer in one--snow on mountains in the distance, lush green hills, stunning fall foliage, a rushing river running along the hot springs, and clean mountain air. The Hot Springs: A good amount of the pools of water were warm and I would only recommend sitting in them if the weather is above 80 degrees, or else you'll get chilly real quick. But for the most part, they were toasty, especially if you sat underneath the ones with waterfalls--those will heat you right up! Pro Tip(s): 1. Make sure you have more than enough gas in your car--you're out of service up here and out of luck if you run out of gas. 2. Bring a big water bottle! Sitting in hot water will dehydrate ya real quick.

For anyone feeling super adventurous and spontaneous. Maybe even wanting to just get out and…read moreexperience something new this beginning of spring Pine Flats is definitely the perfect spot. When you arrive it can be a little confusing but don't be overwhelmed with the long walking trail! Overall our experience for first timers was great. We did have to walk a little and if your a first timer also like us you may want to be ready with some hiking shoes, warm clothes/swimming clothes if your using the hot springs and a happy motivation(: The hot springs pool overall is pretty smaller then expected but good maybe for couples if you need a nice date idea. The temperature is perfect if you land in the right spot. (Lower ones are better) would we do this again ? 10/10 yes.
