We used the community BBQ, just a quick walk from our site. The showers are GREAT, lots of water pressure. Recommend this Park, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, you won't hear the Highway.

They have a very nice picnic area with 2 grills, firewood, and picnic tables. The spaces are fairly long, not too wide, but we had enough room to put out all of our slides. We had a grassy area to the right with a picnic table and a nice tree for some shade in the heat of the day. There is a nice area for tents. There are two restrooms and 8 private showers. All of the staff were nice as were the other campers. No issues with loud noise at all. We will definitely stay again when our travels bring us this way. Around the area....shopping and anything you might need is in Boise about a half hour away. We went to Lucky Peak State Park. It has a river, a lake and a dam, and a nice sandy beach. There's a nice grassy area at the park with tables for picnics. The drive is beautiful and not too long. Majestic mountain views.

Newly built RV park that is a clean and offers a nice parking lot for RVs that you can stay in…read more Main negative is that there are only seedling trees and nothing provides natural shade. They have a clubhouse with full kitchen and living area, restrooms, showers, laundry, playground, dog park, and pond swimming. Mostly residents stay here but there are a fair amount of nightly spaces. The residents have P.O. Boxes on site. They have an overflow lot for RV and car spaces / storage. There doesn't seem like a whole lot to do outside of the park. We drove out for groceries about 3 miles away. Otherwise just rested pond side. It's a nice little park if you need to stop for the night.

Management is not present and he…read moremakes the two women who work in the front take all of the complaints while he in his office with the door closed. Arrived on 6/1 to find out there was no water or sewer in the newly constructed sites, but were never told until we arrived (after giving up another site at another park). We did not have either for over two weeks and we NEVER complained about that. Then after being there for 3 weeks our site (one of three, the only other two that flooded were vacant). The site flooded up to the bottom of the coach, we could not get into the coach without walking through dirty water that was just below my knees which resulted in our outdoor furniture and carpets to be destroyed. When I emailed the manager, he told us "it's new construction and you can move out" no solutions, just get out of the park. He was arrogant and rude with much attitude. He just avoids resident complaints (and there are many) without accepting any responsibility or solutions. Also 4 washers and dryers for 200+ residents and when I questioned that was told "I can't have someone in the laundry room 12 hours a day". Never a solution, just attitude. This man has no business managing a park (or anything else). I was also told that "everyone else is gracious and understands the situation" - Meanwhile NO ONE who moved into the new sites is happy, but he would not know that because he is a coward, refusing to take any responsibility for what is going on at the park. He has no clue that there are many uphappy residents, because he doesn't talk to anyone. I went as far as to buy gift cards for the front office and maintenance guys because I knew they were working really hard and working for someone with such arrogance and so full of himself. Find another park so that you don't face the nightmares that we have dealt with at Canyon Springs.

If you're not allowed to have more then one child. Why does the application have two spots for ages. Just seems real fishy.

We lived in another RV park in Caldwell and this is superior compared to many parks. Kudos to the team at Sun Creek - they are doing a great job and we are very happy to be living here. During our stay, the spa was out of service for approximately 15 days, and the pool was closed for about 17 days. These amenities were one of the reasons we chose this park, so it was frustrating to have them unavailable for such a significant portion of our stay. The common buildings and facilities were often dirty and did not appear to be well maintained. It also seemed that many of the people responsible for upkeep were working in exchange for free rent, and the level of care and attention to maintenance reflected that. Another policy that didn't make sense to us was the required 30-day notice to move out, even though there is a waiting list for sites. Instead of allowing someone on the waiting list to move in, our site will sit empty after we leave, which seems like an inefficient use of available spaces. There are some nice people at the park, but overall we were disappointed by the maintenance, cleanliness, and management policies. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.
