Very friendly owner, nice outdoor space to sit and eat, quick service, and you guys... the ice cream is amazing. As for prices, they're high everywhere these days, and this place is no worse than any other. One thing I love about the Bailey Loaf N Jug is the friendly staff, which is the main reason for changing my review from 1 star to 5. Recently there was a major power outage in my neighborhood that lasted for days. On the second or third day I showed up at Loaf N Jug for some much needed coffee (it's located about 4 miles from my house and the power was on there.) When I arrived, the area around the coffee machine was cordoned off because the floor was wet and slippery. An employee noticed that I looked ready to cry and she raced over to ask if I was okay. I pointed to the coffee area and whimpered I hadn't had coffee in days, and it was my whole reason for getting out of bed and coming there. I'm pretty sure I looked and sounded like a cranky toddler. She gave me a hug, ignored the barrier, poured a huge cuppa, added the sweeteners and cream for me, and only charged $1 for it. I'm glad she didn't slip and fall. Her kindness (and that heavenly cup of caffeine) meant everything that day.

I understand that there's a certain code of conduct, but he could've been very nicer considering that he's in a customer service industry. He was very rude. This makes me not want to ever go back to Walgreens

I've been trying to call for 4 hours getting hung up on every time. I have prescriptions that can only be filled over the phone. I have questions about other prescriptions. I even called the customer service desk twice and they said they were letting the pharmacist know that they needed to get my call and I still got hung up on both times. I have an extremely busy full time job in customer service as well, and I stay late at the office because of the time I waste at work trying to call Walgreens. This abysmal lack of service would never ever fly at any place I've ever been employed.

Snacks, bottled water, etc. Bought $60 worth of stuff and was prepared to walk 3 blocks back to my hotel. Asked politely for a bag and was thrown a brown paper bag - the size and type you used to pack your lunch in for school. Barely holds a sandwich let alone liter bottles of water. They had a stack of paper shopping bags to the side - the right kind with handles. I pointed and asked for two of them, and the guy refused to give them to me. I gestured at all of my groceries and told him I needed to walk blocks back to my hotel and pleaded with him for a bag or two. He tells me "those are for Uber Eats orders only". Absolutely ridiculous. They're so cheap at this store. I remember this happening last year when I visited the area and this store as well. Is getting plastic shopping bags for your customers to carry their purchases home too much of an ask?
