When I inquired around what could wait vs. immediate needs he was transparent and told me what was a now fix even if it didn't put money in his pocket (like the tires). I told my regular mechanic and he screamed. Oh btw, he also charged me an extra $100 to take a look at what I believe he broke, but denied he did. My car never emitted smoke before him but anyone who owns a BMW knows once your engine valve has been opened you basically need to replace the gasket and likely the cover.
